Marcus Hutchins, the Brit who stopped the “WannaCry” malware attack a few months ago, was attending the Black Hat and Def Con conference last week in Las Vegas when he was arrested. The 22 year old programmer is accused of creating and distributing a bank malware program called “Kronos.”
Hutchins faces up to 40 years in prison.
Just a couple of weeks ago, another young nefarious techie hanged himself while awaiting extradition to the U.S. for running a site that sold illegal black market goods that included drugs and stolen credit card numbers.

Knowing how to write code is like having a map to a gold mine in a prison. You’ll be used for every scam known to man and that in turn will keep you there forever. Pleasant dreams sunny boy.

I understand why people slip over the US borders without papers. What’s the worst that can happen?
But if you’re thinking of entering legally, why? You’re safer, from both the government and the livestock, in North Korea.

BFH, on Thursday I used my netbook to come to this site, and one of those ransomeware attacks started. I shut down the pc, rebooted without the network and cleared all my internet caches. That seemed to stop it.
Maybe it wasn’t a real site, but it made me stay off this site until Friday.
If it was real, make it a long slow painful DEATH.
