Was Nixon Railroaded?

Author Geoff Shepard, who worked on Nixon’s Watergate defense team, has gone into the archives of the key players who prosecuted the cases and accuses them of “judical and prosecutorial abuse in the Watergate trials.”

He claims to have unearthed evidence that the prosecutors, Elliot Richardson and Archibald Cox, coordinated with Judge John Sirica as well as with judges on the D.C. Court of Appeals to make sure Nixon and the other Watergate defendants couldn’t escape the charges.

Watch

If you’re interested in how the Democrats may have stacked the deck against the Watergate defendants, you may want to read Shepard’s book “The Real Watergate Scandal.”

A blurb from Amazon.com:

“Watergate was a coup d’état that overturned the largest landslide in American history and destroyed a president who had humiliated the liberal establishment. Geoff Shepard’s investigative work has unearthed buried elements of the plot that brought down the thirty-seventh president.” —PATRICK J. BUCHANAN

I found the piece written by Renata Adler on Judge John Sirica that details what a loser and criminal he and his family were.

  1. Lived through that era while stationed at Andrews AFB. Looking back, I have no regrets about voting for him in each of the elections in which I could. Also, looking back at the Nixon and Kennedy race, ( I was still in Jr HS and couldn’t vote for him then), he was a saint compared to Al Gore as he could have legitimately challenged the stolen votes in Cook County.
