Wassermann Schultz Applauds Trump’s Oil Sanctions Against Maduro Regime

Floridian Press: For the better part of 2019, the United States was involved in placing sanctions against Venezuela’s Communist Maduro RegimePresident Donald Trump was among the first world leaders to slam Maduro and support Juan Guaido, which caused some contention with Democratic leaders in the United States.

However, this week, Florida Democrats are praising the Trump Administration for sanctioning Rosneft Trading S.A., a Russian Oil Firm that is also a Russian-controlled oil brokerage firm that has supported the Maduro Regime in Venezuela.

On Twitter, Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D) commented that she has “raised alarm bells on Maduro’s Russian coordination, so I welcome these oil sanctions.” read more

  2. Don’t kid yourself, she was likely half a bottle gin in because that’s the only way she would have approved of anything Trump does. I’ll bet the real reason she said it was to be able to point to this during the campaign to illustrate that she’s not knee-jerk anti-Trump but is willing to work with him on key issues. A load of crap (albeit gin-fueled 🙂
