I have an awesome titanium aviation watch, I bought it around 2004. Unfortunately, the battery went bad and due to its complexity, changing the battery isn’t cheap. So I gave up on it, I haven’t worn a watch in a couple years.
I might have to get a new one.

That was good, but it’s too bad they couldn’t show any statistics that showed men succeeding instead of showing statistics of of men struggling.

Didn’t see one watch in that ad. Not that I’d buy the overpriced things anyway. Nothing in that or the Jillette ad make me want to buy their product. I don’t need praise or scorn, just try to convince me as to why I should go out and buy your brand.
F**k the editorializing.

@Bongo: Bingo! Politics is big money and ad men are like lawyers in this sense. No press is bad press if it puts your brand front and center.
(But, since branding now includes editorial opinion, it pays to know which end of the political spectrum your dollars end up supporting.)
Did you catch the questioning of Barr about the DoJ’s lack of vigorous enforcement of anti-trust laws? It’s not just about high-tech.

do they make razors?

Where were the ad’s comments about men’s integrity, honesty, strength, leadership, supporting a family, raising kids, being loving, etc, etc?

I’d buy that watch! ….Lady in Red

When is Toxic Feminism gonna be scrutinized?
Triggered, screeching harpies looking like like Meat Loaf in the Rocky Horror picture show, piercing their faces with metal objects like it brought them better cell phone reception, and griping at me about privilege and heteronormative crap like heteronormality was not the very reason people exist in the first place.
If I could work my will, every idiot who runs around with Toxic Masculinity on ‘It’s’ lips should be boiled in it’s own pudding and buried with a stake of Holly through it’s heart

Don’t diss Meat. He did a good job with that crappy role and song.

Rotty, no diss at all. He did a great job on that song.

Unless it was intended to counter the lie about absolute male privilege. In that sense, it works. If men are absolutely more privileged, we pay dearly for it.

I LOVED this ad.
I had a wonderful father – hardworking, honest, good
I had a wonderful husband – hardworking, honest, good, great father
I have a wonderful son – hardworking, honest, good, great father
I would rather spend time with almost any man than too many of the women I know who have a very bad habit of complaining about their husbands or boyfriends.
This ad brought tears to my eyes, because I love what men do that I can’t or don’t want to do.

EXACTLY, Graceia. Your awesome comments are right on point. The ad is beautiful. I got teary eyed, too. Thank God sanity still exists, and this ad proves it.

It’s a good response ad. Doesn’t need to show any products. They’re trolling gillette.
Strike while the iron is hot Egard.
Nice touch.
Awesome.
If you weren’t so damn toxic all those bad things would happen to you and and and women can pull drill stem just as good as men
What an NICE, POSITIVE ad!
OF NOTE: looks like the whole Gillette thing may have been a SCAM:
