Wealthy ‘Frisco Libs Fight Homeless Shelter

Fox News

Rich San Francisco residents in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s congressional district have collected more than $60,000 after starting an online crowdsourcing campaign to wage a legal challenge against a proposed center for the city’s homeless.

The campaign, called “Safe Embarcadero for All,” was launched March 20 after San Francisco Mayor London Breed proposed a 200-bed homeless Navigation Center in the city’s most desirable location, the Embarcadero along the coast of San Francisco Bay, earlier this month. More

  1. Each, every and all facilities providing any and all services to the ‘homeless’ should be located in and around neighborhoods occupied by political leaders, local, state and federal. Under no circumstances should any such facility be located in a neighborhood under the second highest quintile in average income. The ‘homeless’ problem will be solved in a matter of weeks.

  2. SLIGHTLY ON/OFF TOPIC… PERSPECTIVE:

I HAD A FRIEND WHO I LOST TRACK OF AFTER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. HIS MAME WAS C#### P###### (KEEPING HIM ANONYMOUS, I’LL CALL HIM CP). WHEN I WAS A POOR UCLA STUDENT, I SAW
CP HITCHHIKING ON SUNSET BLVD IN PACIFIC PALISADES, AND PICKED HIM UP. HE WAS OBVIOUSLY HOMELESS, AND WANTED SOME OF MY “PRECIOUS” GROCERIES, AND I SAID NO.

FAST FORWARD….I SAW CP RECENTLY. STILL IN PP, WALKING THRU THE LOCAL PARK. I CHASED HIM DOWN, REMINDED HIM OF OUR FRIENDSHIP. APOLOGIZED FOR NOT GIVING HIM FOOD LONG AGO, AND GAVE CP A 50 DOLLAR BILL. AS WE PARTED COMPANY, AND I WATCHED CP GO ON HIS WAY, WALKING STRAIGHT, NOT CARING ABOUT WORLDLY SH!T, AND THINKING ABOUT MY F’D UP LIFE, STRUGGLES WITH MARRIAGE/DIVORCE, KIDS, $$, ETC., I SUDDENLY REALIZED HE WAS LESS F’D UP THAN ME!!

MORAL OF THE STORY: I WANT MY $50 BACK!!

  3. Effum. Filthy rich do gooder libs think their ideas, at your expense, are good ideas. Move all the bums into their neighborhoods. See how they like that. Remind them, a conservative is a former liberal who’s been mugged by reality.

  4. Gee Benito, sorry about that.At USC they taught us to keep our homeless friends on a short lease.

That way they were in easy reach whenever you needed to drain their blood for precious, precious plasma….which goes for 70 bucks a pint on the street.

I’m sayin’ you need to track CP down and go into business with him.

    “BOMBED BEANER PLASMA LLC.”

Has a nice ring to it.

  5. The legal way to seize private land is by using eminent domain power. SF scoundrels are capable of that, but that means antagonizing their own, which is happening. Equality of existence is Communistic ideology, except when those at the top are more equal than others. Animal Farm?
Essay about Equality in George Orwell´s Animal Farm
“Imagine a world where every person is equal: everyone has the same possessions, everyone shows respect to each other, no one kills anyone else, and no authority rises over others to give dictating commands. It sounds wonderful doesn’t it? George Orwell’s haunting book Animal Farm shows however, the near impossibility it is to make that idea a reality. In this fairy tale, a group of oppressed farm animals revolt against the tyrannical bonds of their evil master Farmer Jones, chases him off the farm, and attempt to make a society based on the idea listed above. But instead of having this incredible society, the pigs decide to make one instead where they are the ultimate authority.”

  6. It’s a double edged sword for me. On the one hand, if Little Rocket Man nukes us, S.F. is the most deserving and would be missed by nobody. But I’m so close the fallout would probably kill me. Nuke LA instead.

  7. Years ago Seattle implemented a voluntary (not court mandated, not that you had a choice in the matter) school bussing to make schools more “racially balanced.” Seattle won praise from all over the country for its forward thinking. Of course the neighborhoods where the rich and powerful lived were not included in the bussing plan.
