  1. I want to first state that I think transgenders are far more rare than the media is trying to lead us to believe. And I think they are often just confused people looking for attention ( a certain former Olympic athlete comes to mind)
But my stand on the bathroom ( and I will qualify not locker room )
    is different than most.
Women’s bathrooms have stalls for each toilet. So a guy dressed as a woman going into a stall and taking a dump or even peeing standing up is really no big deal. Nothing can be seen nor can he see others.
As for a woman dressed as a guy coming into a men’s room, there again there are stalls, for taking dumps and sitting down.
Urinals are in plain sight but so what? How many movies and even TV shows , show two guys conversing at a urinal ?
An anatomical woman can’t use a urinal so she ain’t going to be standing by one to glance over. And she ain’t seeing nothing
that hasn’t been shown umpteen times in a movie or on tv.
It would not bother me I if any woman walks behind me while I am peeing on her way to the stall. If it does not bother her it is okay with me. besides this scenario is common in European countries and the guys over there manage to pee when they need to.
Again I repeat this is for just public bathrooms.
I can understand locker rooms being different.
Just looking at it from an engineer’s practical perspective.
