  1. Looks like they added some kinda fancy dog pond down the bottom of a hill, so’s you can sit under the veranda in your rocker and toss them sticks for the hounds to both run and swim to their heart’s content.

The previous owner must had a pretty good throwing arm though, that there dog ponds a long ways down that hillside.

  5. You all might not believe it but AA and I have a living room table that is just like the one in the yellow room in that house. Baker Furniture. Great stuff.
There is millions in fabric in that house, I would love to just take out the drapes and resell them.

  6. I argue that The Beverly Hillbillies was the greatest American TV show of all time.
Everyone in the country wishes they had riches dropped into their lap.
This family became super rich, yet remained innocent.
They didn’t care about money and all the trappings.
What a great story line, and all good actors.

  7. I remember about 35 years ago sitting with a buddy and my brother in a kind of shady bar in downtown Las Vegas at 4:00 AM watching the Beverly Hillbillies in spanish on the bar TV. Damn, we were hammered but still appreciated the show. I think. Anyway, as nice as the joint is it’s hardly worth $195 million.
