  1. I’m Deaf in My right Ear…I can hear a Train Horn from two Miles away…

This Guy’s more than likely a fuggin Moron…

And, I’ll bet Dollars to Donuts …It was His Grandma that got run over by a

    Reindeer….

  2. That was NOT the road that paralleled the track. It was the driveway of the house he had just left. There is clearly a STOP sign and railroad crossing sign on each side of the track. There are literally thousands of small, rural track crossings like that all over the country. The fault rests solely on him. Thank goodness he survived without injury.

  3. Standard idiotic “news” question. “What did you feel and hear?” An effin’ train hitting my truck. How about asking a real question: Why did you drive across the tracks when a train was approaching?

  4. From videos I have seen, Amazon drivers are not the most safety conscious.

I would be willing to bet that those delivery guys are measured on time, and that barely accounts for actually dropping packages off.

  5. I go across an ungated crossing fairly regularly. I figure that I must piss people off when I come to a complete stop with my window down, carefully look both ways, and listen closely.

I’m old enough to remember β€œStop, look, and listen.”

  6. I piss people off because I stop at the gated crossings even when the gates are up if I don’t have clear lines of sight on the approach.

    I was a telephone man for 21 years… I don’t trust electro-mechanical shit.

  7. My wife’s cousin was killed in a similar event in bad weather and poor visibility at an unprotected crossing back in Michigan while driving a county maintenance truck.

Usually you hear about some dipshit who thinks they can beat the train and drive around the gates then get creamed.

  8. I drove a large locomotive for two years. You wouldn’t believe what people do, especially when you’re going slow. At a plant I worked at, an affirmative action hire contractor was leaving work and pulled in front of a speeding Southern Pacific freight train as it blasted it’s ear splitting horns. He died. His family made bank. Go figure.
