What do you do when you enforce a law and it results in mostly blacks getting arrested?
I can tell you what a progressive controlled city does. They stop enforcing that law.
Minneapolis has decided that arresting people for selling marijuana is a low priority. In fact, everyone they’ve already arrested are going to be released and their records expunged, despite it still being against the law.
Why are they doing this? Because nearly 100% of the arrested are black.
So what???? Who is counting? Who is noticing? Justice is blind, or so they say.
What’s next? If nearly 100% of the rapists arrested are black they are going to make it a low priority crime?
They should be released, after an ass kicking that sees them needing assistance to use the bathroom for a month
All new arrests can take their ass kicking right there on the street in lieu of being brought downtown

Almost all convictions for criminal violations of SEC rules and insider trading are committed by white men. This is racial profiling, so all of these matters must be treated as low priority crimes.

Heck, they can’t even get the feral thugs to not masturbate in front of female attorneys. Even if they give them pizza!

I’ve often wondered why the jury in a criminal trial needs to ever actually see the defendant, or for that matter, Know their name.
Think of the OJ Simpson case. What would the outcome have been if it was Citizen X, not Simpson being tried?
I have suspicions that the cost of enforcing the law may have a connection in this. A slap on the wrist is cheap, housing and feeding someone for months is costly. Using race maybe just an excuse to indirectly save money. For some reason I don’t have much trust in our government folks these days for being up and up with us.

An interesting proposal. The defendant needs to be able to see the accusers and cross-examine them per our laws, but it would make justice blind if the accused was hidden from the jury. One way viewing glass perhaps?
We would have to do the same with the lawyers and the judges, too. Just like when we do a blinded scientific study to remove investigator bias, we could do the same with trials. I doubt the NAACP would like the impartial results though. The sad fact is that blacks are disproportionately represented in the legal system because they do more than their share of crimes.
