What does 100mph in a 25 mph zone look like?

The idiot needs to do serious jail time.

This is as reckless as twirling your gun around on your finger in a public place and having it go off.

DM-

A driver in Wisconsin was traveling at such high speeds, he lost control of his car and crashed through at least two buildings, a fence, light pole and a tree, cops said. The incident happened on August 26 when Mitch Forbush, 35, lost control of his 2001 Ford Taurus as he traveled down Oakton Avenue in Pewaukee. Surveillance video shows the white vehicle zooming through on a sidewalk, taking with a it a village hall sign and a tree.

  1. Last GF had a `99 Taurus.

No cruise control on it. That car was so smooth you didn’t notice the speed creeping up. Often found ourselves doing 80+ when no other traffic was around. You could hardly tell.

100+ is not unbelievable at all with them. Also – it got 23 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. Which had me be a bit pissed with Ford considering I picked up a used Ranger for one of my trucks at the time and you couldn’t get better than 15 mpg in it. A smaller, lighter vehicle by the same company and it sucked gas like a full sized truck. I’ll never consider Ford for a work truck again.

I was very impressed by that car, but I would want cruise control for the long trips.
