We’ve all heard the story of how the network executives hated “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” The animation was too simple, the jazz score wasn’t fitting, the story moved too slow to become a seasonal classic. Boy, were they wrong.
One of the highlights of the 1965 production is when, the blanket dragging Linus, takes the empty stage and turns to scripture to explain to Charlie Brown the true meaning of Christmas.
It’s been over 50 years since that iconic moment and we’ve changed. Steven Crowder gives us an update of how that scene would have played out today given what the children of this country are being taught about this most Christian of holidays. Watch
