What Is Happening in Shanghai, China?

Legal InsurrectionBrutal COVID Lockdown and Food Shortages: Starving people who feel they have nothing to lose can become very difficult to control.

Foolishly, in the wake of the most recent outbreaks, Chinese authorities attempted to enforce their zero-covid nonsense on Shanhgai, the most populous city in the world with a population of 26 million. The “experts” thought everyone in this metropolis could be contained and then supplied remotely, even after two years during which supply chains have already been slammed and people’s nerves are completely frayed.

The plan was a spectacular failure.

One post I saw on Twitter said that people are jumping to their deaths rather than die slowly from starvation. Of course, that’s not confirmed.

  1. I have friends in Xi’an and Beijing. They are not allowed to be completely open, but reading between the lines, they admit the same. I fear for them and limit what I say on our chats, but it is not good.

  4. China’s depopulation: One more way to reduce their Carbon Footprint while continuing to use slave labor and unchecked emissions of their factories.

I admire the Chinese people, I deplore their communist government.

  5. China has the world’s greatest irreligious population, and the Chinese government and the ruling Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is officially atheist.

Historically, Godless societies eventually end up burned or drowned. I wouldn’t want to be one of those who failed to believe in God. John 3:16 is all it takes.

  6. What is happening in Shanghai is this: the ChiComms are teaching the rest of their 1.6 billion people what happens if you give the ChiComms a hard time.

  7. The pagan/nihilistic culture in China has not changed in thousands of years.
Modern technologies and conveniences don’t make the results of barbaric communist control less horrific.
BTW, there are Americans stuck in those Chinese high rises too. Really, choosing to live in a communist country is a stupid move.
