  1. @jellybean – I knew I had seen it before but couldn’t place it. I have my mom’s 1950’s RCA Victorla stereo. The 45 rpm record player is mounted on top of the old tube radio on a pullout drawer. The 33 / 78 rpm record player is beside it with a divider in between in a wooden cabinet. It’s very similar to this one except the radio and 45 are in one side with both sides of the bottom being speakers.

  2. It’s a turntable 45 RPM record adapter. You stack up 45s on it and they drop on the turn table one at a time to be played. You could cheap out an buy a snap in plastic disk adapter to fill in the large hole of the 45 rpm that would make it work. I have a collection of old cabinets with radios and turn tables in them. I even have a turn table with two arms on it, some records require a different size needle or you’ll damage the record. Worked at a TV fix it shop while I went to college after Nam, Uncle Sam paid my tuition.
