  1. I posted this link to a great Irish tenor from Southern Gospel fame for Moe Tom some time back. It’s one of my favorite renditions of this song from a male tenor and he doesn’t use falsetto at all in this recording – just his natural tenor voice which is quite a high pitch (and only instrumental accompaniment is the piano player who is talented as well). He was the magnificent tenor for The Statesmen Quartet until he died in his early forties. For anyone interested in hearing one of the best Southern Gospel groups ever, just look on youtube for “the statesmen quartet with Denver Crumpler”.
