  1. Somewhere I have a photo of a teenage Boy Scout (under my responsibility) stalking a moose in Yellowstone. At least I knew well enough to stay far away – or at least farther away than the scout!

  2. If you’re going to be THAT CLOSE to a moose (or any other large wild animal) be sure to have at least one large sturdy tree between you and it.

  3. Having had a moose run into the passenger side of my work van one very dark night just north of Sandpoint, Idaho on hwy. 95 I am very leery of moose, this happened a little over 10 years ago, fortunately the moose was not directly in front of me. I am also very aware of deer also as I have had a few encounters with hitting a deer over in Montana with my work van over the years I worked delivering flowers to northern Montana. The darn things are very fast and bam out of nowhere they ran right in front of me especially on nights when there is a full moon or at dusk and just before dawn early in the morning.

  4. Of course the Moose understands English!
The Dumbass shouldn’t even have been close enough to talk to it in the first place, let alone thinking it understands what yer telling it and do what its told!
I’d bet good money on this dumb shit being a Biden voter too!

  5. I was in Anchorage in December on a military exercise to teach us assigned to MacDill AFB in Tampa FL how to cross country ski. WTF? I also learned to drive a deuce w/ pintle load on ice. I was the lowest ranking NCO in a all NCO unit, Just Call Somebody Else. That was good training for Kuwait and Afghanistan.

I was in town using a pay phone to call my new wife almost 40 years ago. I was more interested in talking to her than looking at blue tits at the Great American Bush club. I was the designated driver. After 5 minutes I feel a warm breath on my neck. I turned around to a young bull moose. He was huge. He lost interest and ambled away down the street.

A Burger King medium Cheese Whopper meal in Alaska 40 years ago is just under what I paid in Savannah 3 days ago. It was $11 and change.
