“White Face” Performer Turns Mirror on Himself

Hip-Hop Vibe

Comedian Druski has built his career on viral characters, parodies, and over-the-top impersonations. But his latest sketch at a NASCAR event is stirring a firestorm of backlash. The 30-year-old comedian appeared in full “white American cosplay,” painting his face, arms, and torso a lighter skin tone while adopting the exaggerated persona of a “redneck” race fan.

The video quickly went viral on social media, generating both laughter and condemnation. While some viewers saw the performance as satire aimed at cultural stereotypes, others criticized it as racially divisive and harmful, especially given the sensitive history around blackface in America. Although a majority of Druki’s skits are controversial, this one is taking a different turn. 1. I think the thing I hate most about this culture we live in is that less than ordinary, stupid people, who would be in the running for village idiot, people that in caveman days the elders of the tribe would banish for lack of skills or effort to contribute, just the dregs of society, these are now “celebrities” because they do asisine things on tik-tok, and people talk about them.

  2. @Rich Taylor, @DC — Contemplating people such as these makes me regret the absence of natural mechanisms for culling the human herd of those who cannot (or will not) feed and shelter themselves.

As Christians, we help the deserving unfortunates around us. What is the morally appropriate behavior towards the deliberately unproductive? That’s a serious question.

  3. So this is how this fat racist views NASCAR fans? I was a NASCAR fan for a long time. Daytona was bigger than the Super Bowl in our household. And we would have a pretty big crowd over for it. We talked about restrictor plates (spit), hot lines at different tracks, the drivers, the owners, motor packages, aero packages, yada yada. We would have thrown this loud mouth prick out. Nice side boobs though. NASCAR died for me the same time #3 died. Never was the same after that.

  4. Watched/listened to the commentary by the Gutfeld! crew last night. Tyrus always distills things down to their essence, saying that the guy didn’t bring the funny. If he’d been in white face or his normal black, NASCAR-ers would have treated him kindly, but he could only make his stunt work if he made his white face into a bigot. He had to pack his own racism because it wasn’t on tap at NASCAR. It wasn’t funny, it was hateful. What’s the number of race-baiting hoaxes perpetrated by blacks now? I cannot honestly recall any actual white-on-black racist street theater. Let’s be done with it.

  5. The funniest thing about this is that a group of self-deluded mid-wits think NASCAR fans are insulted. They don’t care about some fat slob black dude who is not funny or relevant, and they don’t think this ups the level of racial division because they don’t listen to the left’s racial dog whistles.

  6. I could not care less about it; I’ve never heard of the guy. I would note that in the linked article, the word black is always capitalized, while white is not.

    What’s up with that?

  7. Ok Druski, whomever the fuck you are, now do pretending to be a silver backed gorilla in Africa. One thing for sure it wouldn’t take much makeup to convincingly pull off that impersonation!

  8. Yeah, that was disgusting and bordering on evil. The make up was incredible, though. Sadly, this guy’s leftard agenda was to portray a obsolete and obscure white racist from the past who doesn’t have any real relevance today.
Although, this guy has acting skills his negative myopic view of white people is obsessive. That’s not funny. Maybe if he wasn’t so focused on what he perceives as white racism, he’d recognize the current most racist demographic are leftist indoctrinated black Americans. The horrible affects that has had on American society is not at all a laughing matter.
