-I was born white, which makes me a racist.
-I am a fiscal and moral conservative, which makes me a fascist.
-I am heterosexual, which makes me a homophobic.
-I am non-union, which makes me a traitor to the working class and an ally of big business.
-I am a Christian, which makes me an infidel.
-I am proud of my heritage and our inclusive North American culture, which makes me a xenophobe.
-I value my safety and that of my family; therefore I appreciate the police and the legal system, which makes me a right-wing extremist.
-I believe in the defense and protection of the homeland by all citizens, which makes me a militarist.
-I believe that people who are illegally in America should not be given amnesty and benefits, which makes me anti-immigrant.
-I believe that minorities with “C+” averages should not be admitted to medical and law schools in place of white students with “A” averages, which makes me intolerant and insensitive.

And now I’m not sure which bathroom I should use.

  4. Katie ….. there ain’t a damned thing wrong with bein’ a shit kicker and a redneck (other than soiled shoes from kickin’ shit around, but you can wash / wipe that off as needed).

    As someone that worked for quite a few years in an office setting in a large city with assorted prima donnas, divas, apple polishers, incompetent backstabbers, nepotistic hires and self serving ass kissers, moving back to the rural area I grew up in for the last few years has restored at least some of my faith in humanity.

    Many of the people here may not be considered as being as well educated as city dwellers in most cases, but most of them are sincere, decent people that actively try to keep from screwing other people over on a personal level, and are genuine in their personalities and dealings.

    I’ll gladly take unsophisticated rednecks as my cohorts over the smarmy, self absorbed socialites and self-important social climbers that infest more “cosmopolitan” areas any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
