I’m more concerned when it rains cats and dogs. đŸ˜¬
Hey, we try to get along, and then those stuck up, evil tempered creatures hiss in our face and swipe at our faces with their nasty little claws. And they’re so damb quick they get away with it
It aint us: talk to the cats. Or better yet get rid of them
I don’t know why anyone would that works with animals would be surprised. If puppies and kittens are raised together they tend to get along very well. We once had a cat (Max) that was from a litter of kittens that were around a litter of puppies from birth. It was obvious Max almost thought he was a dog because he really liked to be around dogs more than other cats. Tended to freak dogs who weren’t familiar with him out totally. I saw a much bigger neighborhood dog try to rush Max, thinking the chase was on and Max just stood there staring at the dog. Didn’t even twitch. It was hilarious to watch the dog put on the brakes and almost roll over in total confusion. Truly one weird cat.
We had a Collie on the farm that ate with the cats and the cats would lay on or snuggle close to him during colder weather for extra warmth. They all got along just fine.
When I was a kid, we had a dog that had a litter of two pups.
One was stillborn and the mother rejected the survivor.
Our cat stepped in, adopted the puppy and raised him until we could socialize the pup with other dogs.
Even after the socialization, our pup still considered our cat as his mother.
Animals can be amazing like that.
Have a lady i run across now and then when I’m out for a walk and she always has her dog with her.
I came to find out the dog is blind and she drove from Mississauga ON to Ohio too adopt it.
Such a nice heart.
I shot that cat’s eye out!
