Russellville High School Band – Russellville, Arkansas. Makes me very proud. 43 years ago I was a member of that band. Good memories. Just one more positive for me on the most positive of events – the taking back of our country!

If I were asked to choose between Katy Perry and a high school marching band – the band wins hand down. And who represents the PEOPLE out here better – the Cleveland Police Mounted Unit or a singing celebrity with a bunch of unknown back-up dancers in skin tight fishnet uni-tards? The celebrities only want to preform if it makes THEM look good, but what if they aren’t even wanted? Who says we have to WANT them anyway?
I want a home-town feel because this is America, and we are a collection of hometown type people who do not define ourselves by the “big-name celebrities” that are willing to perform for us.
