Why does this make me laugh so much?

  1. The very first KFC was about 3 miles from my childhood home in Murray Utah. It was a wonderful place and the food was the best. It was always full and on the weekends my Dad would go get Bucket of Chicken and all the side dishes. It was a treat. The bigger they got, the worse they got. Corner cutting and shit management have taken their toll and now i avoid KFc like an actual plague (not Covid). It’s a damned shame but it’s happened to almost every major fast food chain.

  2. I worked at KFC when I was in highschool for about a week 45yrs ago. Haven’t stepped a foot in one since & can’t ride by one without puking. Worse than making sausage.

  3. Well, if the thread is about fast food gross outs.

In the drive through line at a Popeye’s. There was a crow chowing down on a discarded drumstick next to me. With a HUGE RED BOIL PROTUDING BETWEEN HIS SHOULDERS. Pulled out of line and never went to a Popeyes again.

Boil and chicken may not be related. It was a gross out moment.

Don’t ask me about Wendy’s and cockroaches.

All fast food is gross and questionable.

  4. I can’t even remember the last time I ate at KFC. When I was in HS 50 years ago two of my friends worked at the KFC next door to my dads gas station. On nights when I closed the gas station and my friends were at the KFC before closing we would eat all the left over chicken after we both closed for the night. Back then it was great, not so much now. The KFC is still there, my dad lost his lease on his Shell gas station in 1982 and he and my youngest brother opened up an auto repair shop in another location which my brother still manages. The gas station was leveled and turned into a friggin McDonalds. My dad never patronized McDonalds after that.

  5. A long time ago a local TV station did a thing on the filth at KFC. I’ll never forget the rats that were scurrying around when they shined the light into the front doors at 3 in the morning!

  6. Thing I noticed was all the broken chicken legs way back when I went there, they all seem to have a rough life.
If remember right the Colonel sold the whole kit in kaboodle for $1 million.
