Why don’t people stay and fight for their own country anymore?

Number of Venezuelan seeking asylum to U.S. soars as economic crisis deepens.

The number of Venezuelans seeking asylum in the United States has soared as the oil-dependent economy crashes and more of the middle-class flees.

The most recent data from the U.S. government’s Citizenship and Immigration Services show that in March 2016, Venezuelans climbed to second place among nationalities submitting asylum requests, with 1,345 applications during that month. Only citizens of China made more requests, 1,441 of the total 10,345 submitted that month.  more

  1. How is this exodus any different than what happens in this country? People in blue states exiting their ruined states, like CA, NY, MA, etc moving to red states, not learning that lib socialist policies are why they had to leave. Then they bring their stupid ideas to our voting booths. I’m beginning to think its a plot.

  2. They don’t want to sacrifice to build their countries up.
Our founders sacrificed life and fortune and everything they had to rebel against Great Britain’s tyranny.
Nowadays, it’s simpler to move to the US and get on welfare and give us hard working Americans the finger when we complain that they aren’t contributing to society or integrating into American culture.

PHenry makes a good point too. Those people you speak of have moved to Maine and made us a liberal testing ground.
They’ve even moved up here because they like the lifestyle and the slower pace and then try to replace that with their old lefty state lifestyles and pace and overdevelopment.

  3. Humans have much in common with their brethren, the lemmings.
They defile their natural habitats with feces and urine, eat everything that happens to be near at hand, overpopulate, and then rush headlong over the cliff of socialism after being told it is some panacea for their natural propensities to destroy themselves. After some time of trying to exist with the slavery and shortages concomitant to socialism, they attempt to vacate to more plentiful lands, to begin the whole sordid process, again.

And there are ALWAYS opportunistic socialists looking for more slaves, and an excuse to defile and destroy, waiting for them with open arms.

Few learn. Even fewer care enough to stop the madness.

Tim, if they make here, let’s all encourage them to accept the free abortions and sterilants, eh?

  5. one thing about Venezuela that the mainstream media refuses to disclose is that a far left historian interviewed Hugo Chavez and many of his cronies about their socialist agenda. Afterwards, the historian realized that Chavez’s brand of Socialism (there are four – Communism, Progressivism, National Socialism, Fascism) was National Socialism. But being a loyal leftist, he couldn’t bring himself to telling it like it is. The closest he came to the truth was to call it Socialistic Nationalism.

But potato, potatoe, ALL Socialism is evil filth.

  6. how many more humans have to die from communism before it’s forever eradicated from the planet.

communism has killed more than wars and disease during the last century and the beginning of this one.
