Socialists are a joke, but they’re no good at telling them. Daniel Greenfield explains why socialists have no sense of humor.
Elitist contempt isn’t an effective tactic. American politics is anti-establishment. Stewart, Colbert, Oliver and Bee are only revolutionary to likeminded lefties in lavish condos. To the Tennessee coal miner, the New Mexico checkout girl and the Pennsylvania steelworker they convey the smugness of an establishment in all its insufferable disdain for flyover country, for the working class and for everyone outside that golden circle of the tall towers and hot clubs in the big cities that really, truly matter.
Because comedy is always best when it exposes obvious truths that we are either too uncomfortable to talk about or never really thought about. Left political comedy is about pushing lies; so it can’t be funny. Propaganda never is. The only people who laugh at propaganda other than those mocking really bad propaganda are sociopaths laughing because the propaganda is being particularly cruel or vicious to a target the sociopath hates.
They’re riding the wave of Leftist hysteria after they lost control of the Nation. That wave is about to break. Won’t be long.
Hey all you Berserkely snowflakes! Employers are now automatically discarding any resume with the word “Berkeley” on it.
You want me to hire you? What’ll you do the first time you disagree with someone, tear down my place of business? Run off to a safe space? GTFO.
Elite liberal hosts. They get all the money and fame telling unfunny jokes written by other people while their mindless robot audience is instructed to laugh.
It may have been Winston Churchill who said “Socialism is shared misery” There is nothing funny about misery, shared or not.
None of the people in the picture are truly funny. Especially Samantha Bee. A Canadian, who moves to the U.S., becomes a citizen and then tells us how horrible we are for not being more like Canada!??! WTF?
The only thing I find humorous about liberals is their belief that they are the smart ones about unreal/untrue ‘facts’.
The left is unintentionally funny and we highlight their silliness right here all the time.
the last Liberal with a sense of humor
George Carlin

Carlin was funny. Stewart could frequently be humorous. But Trevor Noah, Samantha Bee, Stephen Colbert and Alex Baldwin are worse than unfunny – they are boring. I can’t even get upset with these folks because their schtick is so predictable and tiresome that I just lose interest.
I watched a video of Trevor Noah about a year ago, possibly linked here, dated several years ago. He had emigrated to US from South Africa and very appreciative of what made America great. What I saw of the hour-long sketch showed him to be generally libertarian. Maybe it’s more a Hollywood thing, or perhaps he’s just following the money.
Stewart had a great schtick, he had it working and I enjoyed him when he occasionally stuck it to people I disagreed with. He pioneered the Leftist way of news though: parody presented as real news with no rebuttal, then when called on it just say ‘I’m an entertainer, of course this isn’t real!’ It’s BS, but it sure worked.
We laugh nightly at Stephen Colbert. It last about 4 seconds.
The joke is, “is the first thing out of his mouth going to be another jab at Trump?”
Yep. It always is. HE is not funny, he is pathetic. And predictable. That the Network keeps him on the air and promotes it as comedy … THAT is what’s funny.
Just as predictable is Corden, who can’t comprehend embarrassment, getting his nose so brown from burrowing it up the asses of all his talentless, guffawing, ‘celebrity guests’.
Loved this line
“Contempt is the final refuge of failed tyrants. If you can’t rule, you can always sneer.”
Glen beck loves him some s bee. Losers!
Leftist communist Maoists cannot take a joke, or any self-deprecation. It renders any attempts of theirs at humor worthless. Late night TV died when Johnny Carson retired, and the Colberts and trevor noahs and conans are pathetic pussies who are obviously hard-core lefties who poke fun only at conservatives. Doesn’t work guys.
Q: How many feminists or socialists does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: THAT’S NOT FUNNY
You had me at “socialist Comedy”
I listened to that Cockney pissass , John Oliver, doing his thing on Charter Schools. That guy is boring, but he has a laugh track that makes him funny. He is listed as a comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actor, media critic, and television host; a jack of all trades, and master of none. He is not even remotely funny. A fucking asshole, that only retards, that laugh at anything, would enjoy. I’m not familiar with the other idiots.
I agree w M.T., John Oliver is a horse’s arse. These people can’t do comedy b/c comedy requires some degree of surprise and unpredictably and freshness. These people are 100% predictable and just spew PC SJW communist ideology. It is about as funny as a root canal.
I enjoyed the roll of liberal comics and newsbots making jokes about Trump becoming president. I guess its all about context.
Nothing about the left is funny.
Colberts is a disgusting turd.
I can’t stand his surly snotty faggie
routine… Nothing funny on his show at all.
He is sickening.
The only thing good about the left is that they are
stoopid and they will be the first to die when the
shit hits the fan.
Being funny requires at least a grain of truth or fact – something we all know the left hasn’t a clue about.
