HARVARD, Mass. (AP) — A rotary club in a small Massachusetts town of 6,000 residents is gearing up for its annual rubber ducky race where the winner’s prize is a free dinner for two anywhere in the world.
The Boston Globe reports that the winner of Harvard’s Ducky Wucky River Race will receive free airfare, a two-night stay at a hotel and the fancy dinner. more
It’s all free, with the exception of the $100 numbered rubber duck.

$5.50 to buy a duck? Am I reading that correctly? They must have some mighty generous sponsors!

I would go here again.
LOL I worked in Harvard as an assistant cook at a Girl Scout camp during the summer of 1976. Very small, quiet town. Most of the excitement came from misguided people driving through looking for Harvard University, which is in Cambridge, about 60 miles to the east.
