Breaking news this evening:
The state of Wisconsin has reportedly announced that it will introduce a resolution on Thursday morning to decertify the state’s electoral college votes and award them to President Trump.
Not sure what this resolution states. It mentions redress, which means to correct the wrongs.
Let’s take it slow, here.
Gateway Pundit is out over their skis here. This is the money shot in resoution:
Resolved, That the members of the Wisconsin State Assembly place the
24redress to these and other election law violations and failed administrative
procedures as its highest priority and shall take up legislation crafted to ensure civil
officers follow the laws as written.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Sounds like they are going to get together and craft laws to make sure this “never happens again.”
This is what I always felt was going to be the outcome of any hearings and committees.
I hope I’m wrong.
Hmm… Maybe it is a fix to the fraud for next time.
BUT- why would they do this on the same Thursday that the vote is being counted?
AR3 shows on the Wisconsin Legislature’s website as having been adopted by the Assembly in Monday’s session, but it must have been very late in the day, as there is not record of the vote and no other actions taken. However, the resolution itself appears to be a nothing burger, all kinds of wiggle room. That would be why it was adopted. The headline is false and misleading.
Yeah, I’m not seeing anything about this on Parler. Not from anybody in media or ‘media’ or any R.
Regardless of whether it has any force or effect in this current election, the repeated use (and emphasis) of the phrase “letter of the law” disturbs me. As farfetched as it may seem, this decaration appears to be laying out a road map to those future legislators, saying in essence: “You want to avoid this in the future? Change the laws so that election fraud can be accommodated by the ‘letter of the law'”. They’ve completely dumped the more important aspect of “the law”; the *spirit* of it. Freaking lawyers!
Little late. Why didn’t they do this weeks ago?
They should make the language crystal clear! No stated in confusing terms which can later be twisted to fit different interpretations. Lawyer talk in a day when cursive writing isn’t being taught is nonsense. It would be like preachers using the old King James Bible so the lay people would be dependent on them for interpretation of text.
Hope some good will come of it.
A day late and a trillion dollars short.
Let’s see what happens but it looks like we are in for a lot of political theater this week. This idea of audit commissions and decertification after the vote is read tomorrow etc. Come on man, that is just a way to run the clock out to January 20th. That is all that is happening, they want to slow down any chance of overturning anything. And the word commission from Cruz – bipartisan and would ultimately do what GA has done, no real evidence, results stand. This ideally needs to be resolved in public all at once tomorrow or it likely isn’t happening in any civil manner.
Hey now that the Wednesday electoral vote is delayed due to the protesters, Wisconsin can send their letter tomorrow and it will actually accomplish something! Instead of being purely symbolic.
