Wisconsin Legislature Votes To Keep Guest Speakers From Being Silenced

The Wisconsin legislature said it was time to keep invited speakers at universities from being shouted down by morons. (Well, I’m paraphrasing.)

The bill was passed right down party lines, with democrats insisting that what we witness in speaking halls is robust and healthy dissent.

Poo flinging needs to be protected because poo flinging is what the left does best. Simply screaming and shouting so no one can hear a lecturer is “an exchange of ideas” according to the left, and to lose this is an affront to free speech.

See how the left thinks?

This is why they are losing elections.

  1. Well this will put a crimp into the Democrat Party/Antifa Blackshirts that are becoming a fixture at universities and marches across the country bringing violence, assaults, mayhem and intimidation. Hell, that’s part of the Democrat plan for 2018.

  2. “The bill was passed right down party lines, with democrats insisting that what we witness in speaking halls is robust and healthy dissent.”

(at every public venue, at the top of my lungs): “BILL CLINTON IS A RAPIST. HILLARY CLINTON IS A FELON, WITH MUCH BLOOD ON HER HANDS!”

  3. Does the bill also allow for the concealment of identity and, destruction of public property and personal injury inflicted upon others without any culpability at all? We must protect vandalism as free speech as long as the offenders are not charged. We certainly don’t want to diminish their bright futures. [sarcasm]

  4. It’s a good start. Better than nothing at all. And when the states start toting up the bill for law enforcement, courtroom time, lawsuits, etc., it should start to have an impact on their so-called protection of “free speech” rights.
