Nope, me neither. kids rule, these guys and gals drool.
They didn’t give us “big hair” in boot camp.
I think that the barbers in Boot Camp took a sadistic glee in cutting hair down to almost nothing but maybe an eighth of an inch or less. I still remember him jokingly ask me how I’d like my hair cut and then cutting it all completely off in less than a minute and then saying NEXT and doing it to the next guy in line. And the funny thing is after we all got our hair cut we all looked the same, like a bunch of naked sheared sheep or mole rats.

I think you left out the most irksome feature of that haircut.
You have to pay them to f**k you up.
I’m gong to have to ask my two Marine sons if they shaved their heads before going in. They do now and have for years, but I can’t remember if they did it going into service.
I know I would have made the barber unnecessary that day.
