With Cheney’s defeat, 80% of House Republicans who impeached Trump will not be returning to Congress

Just The News:

Just two of the 10 Republicans who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump over his alleged involvement in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot are on the ballot in November following Liz Cheney’s primary loss this Tuesday.

Of the 10, four of them—Cheney, Wash. Rep. Jaime Beutler, Mich. Rep. Peter Meijer and S.C. Rep. Tom Rice—lost their primary bids in contentious challenges since June of this year.

The other four who will not be running—Mich. Rep. Fred Upton, Ill. Rep. Adam Kinzinger, N.Y. Rep. John Katko, and Ohio Rep. Anthony Gonzalez—have all bowed out of their respective primary races at various times since September of last year, with Katko having resigned most recently in April.

The two remaining impeachment voters—Calif. Rep. David Valadao and Wash. Rep. Dan Newhouse—won their respective primary races earlier this year and will face Democratic challengers in November. more here

  1. Says she may run for President.

I have a better idea for her quest to be relevant: Find the lost city of Atlantis. Take your time.

  2. You folks in CA and WA, go ahead and vote D.

At least those people are homest about how they are the enemy and don’t pretend to be something they are not.

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”
-Taylor Caldwell, “A Pillar of Iron”

  3. Henry Blake : “The father dying, right?”

    Klinger : “Yes, sir.”

Henry Blake : [takes out a stack of papers and reads them] “Father dying last year. Mother dying last year. Mother AND father dying. Mother, father, and older sister dying. Mother dying and older sister pregnant. Older sister dying and mother pregnant. Younger sister pregnant and older sister dying. Here’s an oldie but a goodie: Half of the family dying, other half pregnant.”

The Democrats are dead and the Republican Party is dying.

“You folks in CA and WA, go ahead and vote D.”

    Do I have to?

…if this is your congresscritter, if you vote at all, you’re voting (D) either way, one just lies about it, then commits treason, while the other just tells you right out he’s a traitor. Seems like using the opportunity to go RINO hunting may as well be taken, seeing as how you’re going to be repped by a Communist either way…

  5. SNS, WTF? There’s a bunch of us in WA, CA, even OR, that are not on board with your response. We are plenty pissed off! Where are you located? I can tell you right now, everyone I know is mad as hell!

  6. SNS

“…if this is your congresscritter, if you vote at all, you’re voting (D) either way, ”

    Your drunk. Go to bed.

  7. I don’t drink, and I don’t get the hate. I am ONLY referring to people who live where Trump hating traitor RINOs survived their primaries, as the article says, “Calif. Rep. David Valadao and Wash. Rep. Dan Newhouse”.

ONLY these need to be eliminated by any means necessary.

These are Democrats in Republican clothes. Voting Democrat produces the same result IN THESE SPEECIFIC CASES, but gets rid of the last two turncoats in the process.

That is all I am saying, amd the ONLY way I say vote D.

  8. So your going to fucking call us out when they’re not even in our district? What the fuck? I’ll guarantee you I can find fault with your local electorate. Is that your fault?

  9. I am not calling you out. i only ask for the elimination of rino traitors in those particular districts. I should have saud that in the first one but I thoght that would be understood by reading the article. I do NOT mean those entire states, just those districts repped by rinos.

Please don’t read more into it than that. I do not know who reps you, thats why I said IF this is who reps you.

Amd yes, OH is shot through with RINOS too, and I hate them as well. But none that specifically voted to impeaxh Trump.

  10. “if you don’t like being called a californian, perhaps you should consider relocating…..jus sayn”

Or. I could just beat your ass you ignorant bitch. Now I’m pissed. SNS, fuck you and your groupies. This asshole I’m addressing, another fucking cowardly anaon, you’re to stupid to understand, or take the time to learn, what California politics stack up to be. And I’ll not waste my finger tips trying to teach a moron. So I’ll leave you with this my retarded little friend, per capita, California has more conservatives than any other state. Try and do the research yourself. I’m out.

  11. Meanwhile, back on Planet Earth, I’d say President Donald J. Trump has done better than the Vichy Republicans who thought they should try to work with the Dementiacrat-Socialists-Communists-Open Borders-Free Stuffers Party. In 78 days, millions of Trump Supporters and Reformed Republicans are going to send Dementia Joe’s Handlers and Masters a lesson even the Kalamitous Jamindian will comprehend. They’re going to have to “Reimagine” Democracy.

  12. I have a friend in Los Angeles that calls himself conservative but wanted Trump gone. He said Liz Chaney is his type of republican.

I told him he was a Democrat at heart if that’s his values.

The scale of left vs right is certainly slid way to the left out there.

Those two reps probably had the support of their constituents in voting to impeach Trump. Of course they won their primaries.
