Cars are insured, houses are insured and on and on. This just opens the floodgates for frivolous lawsuits that we have to pay because the insurance companies aren’t going to absorb the costs.

I personally don’t care since it happened in MO (not my state, so it won’t affect my rates) but you would think MO drivers who sat on the jury would think differently.
How in the heck do they award a claim in great excess of normal coverage. Bodily injury $100,000. The rest is on the owner…..crap should’ve been dismissed with prejudice at the outset.
