A friend in Pasadena, CA has a 13 year old son that is already 5’10” and looks like he is much older. She and her husband took him with them to vote on Sunday at a local school to get him involved in the process. Her son had on an understated Trump/Pence mask that was an olive green and the poll worker didn’t notice. The poll worker said IDs were not required and should not be required to prevent voter suppression and offered to allow her son to vote. Great to see how tightly run this process has become.
A stupid lady told my daughter that she either had to wear a mask or leave. My daughter knows her rights and told her to pound sand, the short version. While she was filling out her ballot the lady called someone on speaker phone demanding she be allowed to force her out. She refused to give her name, but the other lady my daughter knows and she told her what her name is. We’ve contacted everyone we know to contact, our county and state election board, Reps and Senators offices, local GOP.
Voting was crazy today, we waited in line for over 30 minutes. Nowhere to park at our little Church voting precinct. The most people who has ever voted at our precinct is 200, yet I was number 160 and they were lined up behind me. There’s just a little over 300 registered to vote in our precinct and only 80 are registered democrats.
When I encounter these at my local Walmart, I barrel right past them with a smile and a menacing look in my eyes.
Well, I just got a call back from our Rep’s office and the election board is removing her and having her replaced. So I guess she’s the one getting escorted out. lol
My daughter was also called by the election board and told she could file a complaint with the Sheriff’s office because it is election interference and they could decide to file charges against her. I guess all poll workers were told or given a pamphlet that specifically told them unless it was a government building in a county or city with local government mask mandates they cannot refuse to allow someone to vote without a mask and to do so could be considered a crime. If it is a government building and they do not want to wear a mask then they must go to them outside.
the Philly GOP is a joke. They should have had lawyers ready to immediately file for injunctions against the illegal restraint against legal, certified poll watchers. And the Philly GOP should also call the police. My bet is that they would get eager cooperation from the police what with all the Democrat Party’s embrace of BLM and defunding the police BS.
Why not just go around that fatty, unless it is physically impossible. Or hire a back hoe to move that ho outta there.
