Word App is Woke

I wonder what they think about cockpit?

Grammarly is woke, too.

It’s been programmed to object to the words- slave, homeless, illegal alien.

It’s ridiculous

  1. That they are promoting Grammerly as the “solution” to all those business emails, progress reports, etc. that folks are “burdened with” shows that they ONLY care about being woke and NOT about being useful. Sorry, someone reached out to YOU for details, not some useless, woke software program. Just more crutches to make up for a completely useless and failed government monopoly day prison system pretending to be schools.

  3. Let’s see if terms like non-legal immigrant, non-legal sexual encounter, non-living due to violence and TRUMP MAGA 2024 blow up the site. I’m sure there are many here that can also come up with enough phrases that will make their servers flat out explode trying to analyze info like this pumped into it.

  4. The crazy part of all this is that it’s completely illogical. Say someone is writing about the evils of whatever but that’s one of the “bad words” – then what? Talk about “nothing”?

  5. My problem with those grammar programs, besides the above, is that they want you to dumb things down. I used a free trial on one to write a blog post and found that when I was done, it was flat. (If you go to my blog you probably would have no problem seeing which post it was.) You want to use a big work to get a specific idea or feeling across? Forget it — it will downgrade you.

It seems that if everyone used those programs, everybody’s writing would all look the same. And what use is it to write to a fifth grade level if even a lot of high “graduates” can’t even read at a fifth grade level?
