  1. I like the “incineration” part of THEIR wall. :tu:

In addition to catapults on our side, and a ten mile wide strip of landmines on theirs, motion & thermal guided laser cannons on TOP of the wall is an awesome idea! πŸ˜€

  2. I watched it back in the day. As the actor’s politics, especially Gillian Anderson’s were made public (10 10 campaign) I soured on the whole thing.

They must have choked, realizing the set up. I should watch the whole episode to see how they finish it. This bit is pretty funny.

  3. The original series was fun to watch. Back then the main message was not to trust the government.
We’d laugh and yell- turn the lights on as Scully would wave around a pen light to search the room.
    This clip says it all.

  4. I liked the Lonegunmen. I was flipping channels one night and landed on it, so made a point of tuning in the next week and turns out it was canceled after a couple episodes. About 10 years ago, I came across the box set which has all 12 episodes. Excellent.

  5. I’ve seen every X-Files episode. They seem to fall into three categories. 1.Unraveling a 60 year government conspiracy that started at Roswell – In the latest reboot of the series, these episodes seem confusing and tedious to me. 2. Thoughtful sci-fi/mystery stories with a Twighlight Zone twist. Some of these have been brilliant and even devastating (the episode with Peter Boyle as a life insurance salesman who foresees the death of everyone he meets comes to mind). 3. Lighthearted, fun episodes like the latest one shown here. These folks can come up with some brilliant, wry humor. Usually at their own expense. Like “Hill Street Blues”, this “drama” series has been able to provide some of the best comedy ever on TV. I’ve been disappointed with a lot of episodes, but I’ll continue watch any more they make in order to catch the gems.

  6. I watched this when it aired and I thought this must be the last episode.
The alien walking to get on the wheelie thing cracked me up from the start.

    -Classic comedy episode-

  7. Having never watched an episode I thought this was a load of crap. What the heck was with the Segway? Why was it placed on the other side of the stairs instead of at the most logical place, at the base of the stairs? I won’t even ask why he couldn’t have just walked over to the group.
This looked like nothing more than an SNL skit, written and thrown together on a Friday afternoon and rehearsed once prior to going LIVE FROM NEW YORK!

  8. That was hysterical. X-Files is a great series. Some episodes leave a lot to be desired, but some hit the mark with dynamic, insightful, poignant and satirical story telling.
