Yahoo! News Can Sure Pick’em

In a constant stream of biased stories against the current administration, Yahoo! News ran a feature from GMA yesterday trumpeting all the success the Chicago is having  reducing gun violence  this year.

It’s not the story itself that’s so entertaining, its the comments it drew. Here are a few example of the “top reactions.”

That just so happens to correlate exactly with Trump’s inauguration.

So Chiraq will hav only 700 hundred murders as compared to 757 the year before? Gee, that’s great news. That’s about 650 more than Americans killed in actin this year

  1. Left Coast Dan, my wife the lofotainment Trump supporter would show me the comment sections from all of her TMZ-type celeb gossip sites throughout the election last year. They were almost without fail slanted as far to the right as the site and its stories were slanted to the left. And nowadays, there don’t seem to be nearly as many leftie comment trolls as there were during the Obama regime. He must have been paying them back then. Or I guess the Russians were paying them as part of the Uranium One deal.

  2. Seems like a big reduction in Leftist trolls in comments on sites I visit.
After the election and then the final efforts to disrupt the January Inauguration, the troll payrolls were not renewed.

  3. Definitely fewer lefty trolls. Of course if you venture onto Slate or HuffPo there are still plenty, but they don’t go onto middle or right sites nearly as much.

  4. “… fewer lefty trolls.”
I remember that Hines was banned (the single banning, as I recall – quite a claim to fame) but what has happened to the other drooling nose-pickers who used to comment here? Not that I miss em, of course … just wondering. Some were mildly amusing.

    izlamo delenda est …

  5. The leftist idiots at Media Matter treat that comment section as their own personal safe space. The respond to the slightest push back with the comment equivalent of putting their fingers in their ears and repeating nonsense to themselves.

  6. I read the article, and the PD attributes the decline to proactive policing, predictive technology and focusing on gangs. Notice two things: (1) no mention of gun control and (2) these are actions blocked by the Obama administration.
