On Wednesday, there was a shooting threat at Loveland High School, and the Thompson School District acknowledged that more than a dozen faculty members evacuated the building.
After receiving a Safe2Tell warning about a potential school shooting, 14 instructors reportedly “departed the Loveland High School campus” while classes were in progress, according to a district official.
According to LHS sophomore Aubrey Livermore, some students were sent to the cafeteria while others congregated in the corridor.
She said that “there was no guidance on what to do.” “I think we were all simply feeling lost and disoriented.”
Hunter, her brother, said the classroom was dark and locked up when he arrived. He and his pal waited in the cafeteria for the 10 a.m. announcement that classes were canceled.
No one was around, and he was at a loss for what to do, he added. “I had no idea what was happening.”

He (school spokesman) added that “district staff are currently in the process of engaging and partnering with Loveland High School staff to reflect and to review protocols as we move forward.”
