Daily Caller: Four head coaches in the National Football League were fired Sunday as the regular season has come to and end.
Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano, Chicago Bears head coach John Fox, Oakland Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio and Detroit Lions head coach Jim Caldwell were all fired on the same day, during the last weekend of the regular season. All three teams had records which prevented them from advancing to the playoffs.
Pagano’s was fired Sunday after seven years with the Colts. The team had a rough year, ending the season 4-12. Del Rio was fired by the Raiders the same day, after only two years with the team. The Raiders finished the regular season 6-10. Fox was fired Sunday night after two years as head coach for the Bears. The team ended their 2017 season 5-11. Caldwell was also fired Sunday night. He spent three years with the Lions who finished the regular season 9-7.
The New York Giants fired head coach Ben McAdoo earlier this season after they ended the season 3-13.
The NFL will kickoff the start to the post season Saturday night.
I did better than that, I fired the NFL.
I wish I cared.
How many players on those teams lost their jobs?
I’m guessing they’re looking to hire new coaches for a lot less than the old ones. Got to cut costs somewhere.
Hue Jackson could not be reached for comment (0-16).
Due to stupidity of the social justice thugs, the entire NFL are losers.
@flip, I had to look Who Jackson up, his job is good, he is safer than a weather man.
They will be replaced by transgender members of black lives matter.
The NFL is fired to me.
Jackson, coach of the 0-16 Browns, that has to be a joke somewhere.
With a little wisdom, vision, and self discipline, they should be able to live comfortably for the rest of their lives on the money they’ve been given. Don’t count on it. In a year or two they’ll be shift leaders at the car wash. Look for Colts, Bears, Raiders, and Lions hoodies.
The Texans (4-12) coach Obrien may be joining this list. The Texans GM has taken a leave of absence.
Hue Jackson – new resume entry:
2017 – Managed Cleveland Browns to historic record.
The 5-11 Denver Broncos kept their rookie head coach yet still fired 6 asst. coaches….
The Browns and all of Cleveland, and suffering because of political correctness and Affirmative Action.
No one wants to fire a black head coach (Hue Jackson) with a 2 season record of 1-31.

And what do my Browns do? Hire a great new general manager, but keep that horrible head coach (let’s not draft Carson Wentz because he’ll never be a top quarterback) and have him report directly to the owner. I guess they’re mighty proud of that 1-31 record. Every week I ask my husband, who still watches (I refuse to), “Who are we losing to this week?”
They should all be encouraged to only hire black coaches going forward.
Too bad they didn’t add Saints coach Sean Peyton to the FIRED List.
a) he sucks
b) he doesnt know shit about guns, the 2A. And yet he spouted off after the Vegas massacre, pushing more gun control.
Mithrandir: Now Cinci is, too. >:(
