  1. That would be fantastic for yourself and all of us residents of Florida. The left will be unhappy that Mar-a-Lago is not totally destroyed but they’ll eventually get over it. Just kidding, they won’t ever get over it.

  2. Three days ago it was going to be Armageddon in Florida. Now it’s possible it might not even hit it. But they are predicting in 100 years we will all be underwater unless we spend trillions of dollars to cut greenhouse gases. Makes you wonder about the science of predictions

  3. Lazlo is an Insurance adjuster. I see this crap every year.
    Storm reported, madness ensues.
Folks spend gobs of money, and crowd the home depots and Costco’s and shove and yell.
Lazlo lives in AZ. I prepare for the monsoon in early May and June, I avoid crowds and craziness. My generator fuel is bought and stored early, I have water and food and batteries and other crap on hand.
Last year after a particularly large storm I broke my laser measurer and had to go to home depot to get another one. It was like the world was ending. I saw two grown men almost come to blows over a lumber cart. Shameful.
Prep early. Prep well, and be ready to help those less fortunate around you.

  4. Told the wife yesterday my predictions.
Been through a lot of ‘canes over the years, I’m better than the NOAA at it.
Prediction: IF it hits Florida, cat 1.
I trust in karma, the Georgia/Carolina bight and experience to keep us safe.
Lived on a coastal island for over 50 years, a mere 14 feet above sea level, gotta learn sumpin’.
The worst was no electricity for 2 weeks, with a newborn baby, she’s over 40 now.
Dad was smart, he bought the highest land on the whole island, the elevation marker was in our front yard.
There were times we had waterfront property.
I’m up on a hill now, Gopher Hill, a prehistoric sand dune, Atlantic Ocean once lapped at the shore.
    Good luck, you ‘cane virgins.

  5. I went to several “live” sites to see what the winds are. On the surface we’re talking ~70 mph max! I don’t think that makes it a Cat 2. The Media is lying again. Cat 4 is bullshit! The grocery stores and plywood marketers are happy!
The media can get away with this crap, because at 1000 feet elevation, the winds are over 100mph. They just don’t tell you the details. Sucker!
