Okay, the soup gets thin towards the end of the list. But the 27 CLUB seems to be pretty substantial.

That’s a lot of 27s and it does get a bit thin.
On the topic of more obscure deaths, does anyone know what happened to Franz Vonlichten. of E.S. Posthumus?
What timing. They just reopened Cobains case. Guess who they think the prime suspect is? Some of my Fav music by the way. Including Hole. But Nervana was awesome. They boom in my back yard every week end night.
If you look at all the musicians who died in aviation accidents, it’s unreal. Many of the very best died that way.
Aside from the superstar names in that list, there are probably just as many junkie rockers who bought it at age 21, 22, 23, 24, etc.
Chris Bell was the most underrated of the lot. The same for Big Star. The greatest band that no one has ever heard of.
Heard of 3 of them. Guess I don’t get out much.
The only one I actually own records of is Janis. Yes, Vinyl.
And they all died after JFK was assassinated.
Coincidence?
I don’t think so.
Maybe it ties into the more recent research that says the brain, and with it maturity, develops up to about age 25, not 18-20 as often assumed.
All died after Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley AND JFK were assassinated!
Somehow Geo. W. Bush, the Carlyle Group, and the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy are involved in this!
My dog was a rockstar. He died at 27. But those are dog years so not sure if they count. He committed suicide. He ate 20 Hershey bars. And no, I did not give them to him. He was despondent.
I thought there was an owl in my house but it was just me going “Who?, Who?”
In the immortal words made famous by Maxwell Smart, Gram Parsons, missed it by that much.
If someone woulda assassinated JFK when he was 27, he couldn’t have screwed America with his EO given feral employees the ability to collectively bargain for higher wages.
If someone woulda assassinated lil Teddy, when he was 27, he couldn’t have screwed America with his fucking AMNESTY for millions of illegal alien invaders.
Knew maybe six of the bands, but ten on that list died from booze/drugs. Speaking of booze …
How in the world did Ted “Da Whale” Kennedy live as long as he did? If they just buried him upright and set his hair on fire they could use him as the Eternal Flame at his brothers grave site
