As soon as Scott Walker signs the bill, Wisconsin will become the 15th state to make it illegal to provide an abortion after 20 weeks. As the Wisconsin Assembly was voting on the bill, abortion proponents were able to muster one lone protestor, identified as Wendi Kent, who then chained herself to a banister on the upper floor of the capital building.
Kent was later joined by two others who shared the distinction of demonstration the true meaning of “too little, too late” (and too homely).
I’ve seen quite a few articles and people referring to this as “an abortion ban.” Let’s get our language right here, this is not a “ban” but a reasonable and completely logical “limit” on abortion. When you call it a ban you’re playing by the left’s rules in their attempt to put this form of legislation in a light that freedom loving people will view negatively and even the most marginal of abortion supporter will be motivated to man the ramparts.
No one has taken abortion away, we have only put proper “limits” on the barbaric and murderous practice.
