Hollywood Stars Plan on Trucking In Nearly 32 Million Dollars Worth of Sand To Save Their Beach Homes

Rising sea levels and beach erosion mean the celebrities and billionaires who live along the exclusive stretch of Broad Beach are powerless to protect their guarded, gated houses from the forces of nature

RISING SEA LEVELS????

When did this happen? The left simply injects pure bullsh!ttery into its articles like its fact. There have been no rising sea levels that would be significant enough to flood houses. It’s called BEACH EROSION from tides and waves. The oceans do not have to rise in order for waves to reach a house when they hadn’t before. Give me some heavy earth moving equipment and I’ll show you how.

And besides, how big is the carbon footprint of trucking in 31 million dollars worth of sand over the next ten years? For the good of the planet, shouldn’t we just put a shovel to these homes? Why raise carbon levels saving this houses when all it will do is make the oceans rise EVEN HIGHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Among the stars pitching in to raise the the 31 mil are Ray Romano, Dustin Hoffman and Pierce Brosnan.

Shame on them for speeding up the demise of the planet in such a self-serving manner.

  1. Don’t they need permits and months and months of costly study before they try to save those shacks?
Who are they to deny those people living behind them a chance to own beachfront property?

  2. Here in the People’s Republic of Hawaii, I recently read a newspaper article that matter-of-factly referred to the (imaginary) problems associated with rising sea levels as though they were currently being experienced. The only problem is, when you live on an island in the middle of the Pacific, it’s pretty damned obvious that the sea level hasn’t changed! There is a very popular public park at about 1 foot above high tide, with an extensive network of tidal ponds, that would be under water if sea level rose, at all. Idiots.

  3. Ugh, those houses are all jammed in there. You couldn’t pay me to live there having to deal with a-holes on either side. And who’s the moron that thought there’d be no issues building right next to the ocean?

  4. Sea levels rise 4~6 feet twice a day on the Atlantic coast. I was there eight days in September and can vouch for this strange, global warming effect.

I suspect “high tide”is just a code word from the sealevel is rising deniers.

  5. Those freaking assholes! How dare them deny the local marine life a new home/reef to live.

Just like them to moan and groan about their own property at the expense of the fishes.

  6. From NOAA:

    “Los Angeles, CA
    9410660
The mean sea level trend is 0.88 mm/year with a 95% confidence interval of +/- 0.23 mm/year based on monthly mean sea level data from 1923 to 2014 which is equivalent to a change of 0.29 feet in 100 years.”

Why is the left a party of science deniers?

  7. If the sea level were rising no one would write a 30 year mortgage on a house with a 15 year life span.
    Bullshit, its all bullshit.
If the globe was warming the humans should rejoice as Canada and Siberia are opened up for farming.

  8. Why don’t they just dig up the beach and throw that sand into the water? That’ll raise the sea floor and lower the ocean level.

    See? Science ain’t hard!

Or take the sand off the bottom of the sea and put it on the beach! Then the ocean would be lower.

  9. It’s their property and their money. If they want to drag out the inevitable washing away of their sand, rocks, house, and money they are free to do so. That’s one of the great things about living in America.

  10. I am pretty sure the Bible addresses this issue about the wise man builds his house upon the rock, the fool does on sand. There is even a song about that we sang in Sunday school

  11. But are they going to truck in 1,000 tons of bull shit in order for its aroma to cover up the eye-watering, odious stench of these LibTards?

  12. 10 feet tonight, full moon.
If your McMansion washes away here in SC, no replacement permit will be issued.
No bulkheads, no sand or other fill, if you cannot pull it back, you lose it, fools.
Whole bunch of them on Daufuskie are falling in, as we speak.
