Mother Jones – Bernie Sanders announced on Wednesday afternoon his support for a new climate bill that would ban all new fossil fuel development on US federal lands and terminate current leases that aren’t producing. The bill, called the “Keep It In The Ground Act,” would also ban offshore drilling for oil and gas in the Arctic and the Atlantic and would stop new leases for offshore drilling in the Pacific and the Gulf of Mexico.
“I believe all of us have a moral responsibility,” Sanders told the rally at the Capitol in Washington, DC, which also featured Bill McKibben, the founder of environmental advocacy group 350.org. “That’s just the simple truth.”
If the US doesn’t act more aggressively to limit carbon emissions from burning fossil fuels, Sanders said, “the planet that we’re going to be leaving for our kids is something we should be ashamed of.”

Bernie’s paranoia is based on reports he’s read that say by the next century the earth will be 10 degrees hotter if we don’t reduce burning fossil fuels by 80%.
Leftists always use dire prognostications that will come to pass sometime in the distant future, that way they don’t end up upside down in the public square with their junk stuffed into their mouths.
But keep pushing guys. There will be a breaking point.

Hmmmm, he’s worried about something that he says will happen in 80 years despite absolutely no evidence to support that. And in fact the facts seem to say the opposite.
Yet, every historical instance where countries have gone down the path of printing fairy dust money in ever increasing volume has resulted in the economic collapse of said society.
Why in the world are these REgressive cultists given such credence? Why do they ignore facts?

If we had leadership like Harry Reid in DC, leaders that firmly believed in their ideology like the REgressives and fought tooth & nail for implementation of conservative policy…yeah I know, if could’ves and should’ves were candy and nuts…
I know I’m repeating myself here, but does he actually think this bill will get him more votes? Perhaps in the primary, perhaps not. Certainly not next November.

Well, Salon did a story about Bernie being racist because he called gun crime an “urban” problem, so Hillary said it was coded dog whistle stuff because everybody knows that urban liberal shitholes are filled with blacks or something. My crazy Uncle Clarence also believes that oil should stay in the ground. He also believes that he was abducted by aliens and subjected to medical tests (although we think he just likes sticking things in his butt).
