This is Loretta Sanchez, representative of California. She has threatened SNL, saying that they might not have the constitutional right to have Donald Trump host their show.
When I first read this I thought she was going to say that it violated election rules and the equal time provision.
No. Sadly, this duly elected representative says that Trump has said derogatory things against Hispanics, and some guy attacked a Spanish guy while saying, “Trump is right, we have to get rid of the illegal aliens,” so, therefore, SNL is airing something akin to someone yelling “Fire” in a crowded theater.
I’m not making this up. This is as mangled and convoluted an argument I have ever heard, and let me remind you, I’ve heard Al Sharpton.
The real danger here is that a member of the Latino Caucus could even utter such threatening words to a private citizen, that the specter of jail looms if SNL should go ahead with their “illegal” airing of Donald Trump.
This is banana republic stuff coming from an American politician. Maybe importing this type of thinking is not for the wise Americana.

Unless this regime’s presidente’ wrote a bad check and gave them blanket amnesty, If they are here illegally, without benefit of any immigration and naturalization process, they are here…illegally. They must be deported. Same of people who overstay their visas. There are a whole host of reasons someone can be deported, most of them involving committing crimes.

Even elections that violate the state constitution, as did both offices Jerry Brown has held in recent times including his unconstitutional 3rd term as Governor are ignored. Bad things happen to people who try to enforce rule of law in this state.

Litigants accuse me of violating their constitutional rights constantly (usually when I tell them they can’t do something, like the guy who was married to his child’s mother at the time of birth and conception and wanted court-ordered DNA testing). I tell them ,”I want you to read every word of the Constitution tonight, the come back tomorrow and tell me which of your rights you think I’m violating.”
