Sessions Wants to Defund Refugee Admissions Program

TheNewAmerican: Speaking on the Senate floor on November 19, Senator Jeff Sessions [R-Ala] strongly condemned President Obama’s request for funding for refugee resettlement, basing his opposition on both economic and security threats found in the president’s plan. In his speech, Sessions outlined the reasons behind his opposition to more federal spending for refugee resettlement:

Refugees are among the most costly immigration program for several reasons. Refugees are instantly eligible for federal welfare and entitlements. They are low-skilled and frequently lack any kind of formal education. There is a great cost involved — about $6.5 billion lifetime cost per each 10,000 refugees. 1. In Florida, Governor Rick Scott is one of the governors refusing to take in the thugs, but our Tallahassee mayor is saying he would welcome all of them. Locally, they have nothing but left wing democrats on city and county commissions. The mayor, who is a far left liberal black probably could end up being mayor for life.

  2. Every day I’m stunned and slack jawed that our feckless Republican leaders don’t shut this clown down. CUT OFF THE MONEY! All spending originates in the house via the ways and means committee. Stop the funds.

  3. Well yeah, I’m stunned too.

Sessions wants to cut off funding for this illegal refugee invasion then he should shut down the senate with a couple of the other senators that believe as he(we) does. Hold an around the clock filibuster and shut down the fucking government. Take the fucking arrows because the incoming will be tremendous. You have the support of 70% of the public.

Do it. All it would take is one man to sound a clarion call.

Otherwise, all of this caterwauling is pointless.
