  1. It would be really easy to be snarky as many of you might tend to be on this site, but after having recently lost a loved one, I wish the family well in processing their grief.

  2. That happened to my Dad when he was 27. He came home from work with a headache, went to lie down and never woke up.

It is a terribly tragic thing to lose a loved one who is in the prime of life. My Mom — a new American citizen only in the US for 5 years — was left alone with two little children. It devastated her.

  3. I don’t like Carter, but I don’t wish tragedy on him or his family. So sad to lose a family member, especially a young one. I pray that God will comfort them during this difficult time.

  4. Amen. I find it encouraging that most of the commenters on this site (so far, at least) have chosen to show their classy side rather than the vindictive one. There’s a time for politics, and a time for humanity.

  5. Of course, it goes without saying that when a young person goes down it is a sad day. However, if he is a lib he is just another adversary not in the game. There is a war going on in case you haven’t noticed.

  7. More than half of all heart attacks are caused by calcification of arteries (gee, I wonder why doctors still prescribe statins for lowering cholesterol to almost everyone). The component of cholesterol that appears to cause blockages is a specific “fatty” protein known as “lipoprotein (a)” {Lp(a)}. It has a tendency to stick to arteries, especially at stress points where the arteries enter the heart. The good news is that simple vitamin supplements can prevent and even reverse the process. This article is a good summation including how long this has been known (early 1990’s).
