Group Protests Against Art on Carousel

A group of activists are objecting to the caricature of a picaninny (a word that my spell check does not accept, by the way) on a city carousel.

It’s only a picaninny if you call it a picaninny. Why isn’t it just a painting of a small black girl from the turn of the century? And yes, the kid peering around the corner has bug eyes that seem to stand out because he is black. So?

Your eyes would bug out too if you saw an angry cock that big.

What about this kid?

If you watch Arthur Penn’s “Bonnie and Clyde,” do you think the depictions of the midwest depression era farmers paint them in a favorable light? Some of the dialogue makes them sound borderline retarded (particularly the scene where Bonnie meets her mother for a picnic.)

“Bonnie and Clyde” was hailed as genius for its hyperrealism.

  1. How quickly everyone forgets all about the genetic bond between poultry and blacks, how the rooster teaches them how to walk and let’s not forget “fried chicken”. I see nothing wrong with this..

  2. All tyrants, from Stalin to islam, destroy history to consolidate power. That is why they are removing all images of American Indians and blacks in historical context.
Once gone, they will all be forgotten within a generation.
What ends up taking it’s place is a lie crafted by progressives.
