He points to the media as being primarily responsible for the reality TV atmosphere, but also We The People who demand to be entertained first, informed second must also share the blame.

And I thought it was just an idiot box. I don’t watch much TV and almost never network or cable news unless it’s a major disaster and even then I only watch enough to know what’s going on and then turn the damned thing off..
