Boehner Wants Paul Ryan To Be Named the Presidential Nominee At Brokered Convention

I love how the elite blithely mention names of people that will supposedly walk into the convention center, having not spent a day or a dollar working for the nomination, and walk out with a ticket to the most important job in the world.

There will be blood.

  1. Funny they would be wiling to throw that away Brad. I’ve converted numerous robotic Democrat voters and I have a memory like an elephant when I’ve been screwed. 2020 is right around the corner, this shit show will still be front and center.

  2. Is there any question now that these GOP guys would rather have Hillary then Cruz/Trump? I never doubted it myself, but even lo-fo’s must be able to see now how corrupt the establishment is

  3. Sad isn’t it Brad?

I’m all for swallowing my pride and voting for Marco?……… Rubio! instead of DJT if he actually was installed by the will of the people.

We’ve had this conversation already about #NeverTrump.

Where I draw the line is when some goofs in a backroom force some ruhtard like Ryan onto my ballot.

That will make me quit and campaign for Hellry. It will be a bloodbath for the GOPe. Should they choose this route, I’m willing to wager she wins 70 to 80% of the popular vote because there will be at least 30,000,000 GOP voters that will stay home 11/02/16 to attend to more pressing matters.

  4. Bad_Brad, I kept hearing this yesterday. Astounding. But I am not surprised. The GOPe is not substantially different from the Demorats. They seem to be more than happy to join hands and dance in a circle together. It is only you and me who have livelihoods to lose. They will all live long, rich, traitorous lives.

May flesh eating worms be their intestinal companions.

  5. It’s to bad Cruz won’t rally behind Trump. Cruz has already said he has no interest in being Trumps VP. If the Trump and Cruz camps could unite the GOP would have a lot tougher time stealing this election. This sucks.

  6. “I love how the elite blithely mention names of people that will supposedly walk into the convention center, having not spent a day or a dollar working for the nomination, and walk out with a ticket to the most important job in the world.”

Sort of like Obama and his SCOTUS nominees, no?

  7. If Americans were truly smart, Cruz’s people would coalesce behind Trump asap. Cruz may win a few more proportional votes here and there, but he is not going to come close to the number of nomination votes. Cruz is now the “splitter.” Trump still has the momentum and people to secure the nominating votes outright, but it would sure remove any argument from the GOPe if America-loving voters joined in a resounding chorus of “NO!” Such a move would remove any and all arguments the GOPe would have or any and all corrupt plans the GOPe hatch to steal the nomination.

The only reason I see this not happening is because Cruz is part of the beltway crowd and his recent conversations with the GOPe have already laid out how he, like Rubio before him, falls on his sword in exchange for something bigger in the GOPe and the senate. A quid pro quo to stop Trump and the anti-GOPe.

As a part of the Globalists and anti-Americans, they do not care if the Democrats win the election.

  8. If you Trump supporters, or Trump for that matter, actually wanted Cruz and Rubio supporters to rally behind Trump at the end game you would have treated them differently from the start.
You didn’t need or want our help, we were idiots and stupid assholes, Trump was going to be JHUGE.
Now they OWE it to you?
For what? By almost every measure he is going to lose to Hillary, and why not? He is too busy attacking his real enemies (us) to go after his personal friend that is running on the Democrat ticket.
Trump doesn’t care about defeating the Democrats, his goal is to defeat the Republicans, and he may very well accomplish that.

  9. There will be riots, there will be a major tax revolt, we will vote all republican senators and Congressmen out of office, the GOP will cease to exist, we will water the tree of liberty with the blood of the NWO elitist traitors.

  10. “I think we are about to find out if we are still a Republic”

    If? IF?

The mere suggestion by the former Speaker is proof that the Oligarchy is NOT going quietly into that good night.

Think about it … out of 360 Million people only 5 can be considered for the Presidency?

    Pretty fuckin sad …

  11. @ Abigail

For weeks, I’ve been thinking exactly what you are saying, but you had the courage to say it. I’m getting too old for the riptide that would ensue and wouldn’t be able to argue it effectively.

This exact strategy is necessary to at least have a fighting chance to put our keepers in their place.
    Thank you.

  12. Plain Jane — Well, I’ll go one further. Have you noticed how those against Trump are saying and doing the most astounding things that would ordinarily turn things in their favor — but they are not?

This is taking on something very Biblical. A long, long time ago I wrote a BP piece about God using imperfect people to His purpose. I don’t know the mind of God, but it’s been one thing after another, after another, after another. A string of “stuff” that would have collapsed a lesser candidate — or even a greater candidate! Trump is the quiet man in the ways that are most important.

  13. I have a difficult time believing that God is offering us an “out.”
I’m more inclined to believe that He is “Stretching Forth His Mighty Arm” to smite us – to humble us before the Lord – and to show us the pathway to His Righteousness.

We may be in for some “old time religion” (aka “Old Testament Religion”) and I, for one, am not prepared.

Of course, I have been wrong, before …

  14. Boner? Endorse Lyin’ Ryan? YHGTBFM!!
Not only NO, but F**k’n Hell NO!
Write in vote campaign! My choice, Cruz!
I may lose everything by it, but I’d lose anyway, so I may as well go down swingin’.

    !!@@)$)^(#&@@!)#(*$%*^(%)@#)_!@!!!!assholes

  15. TO AA and Bad Brad

Yes, Cruz seems to have been seduced – with one incentive or another – into being the happy splitter. It seems to be the only way the GOPe sees to maintaining the status quo of coruption…err…status quo: by creating a bureaucratic/technical vehicle to stop the nomination of Trump and creating an “unexpected” movement to hand it to the only “plausible” guy (who they can still control): Cruz.

At which point, it won’t be “the conservative base”…but rather all the millions upon millions of crossover voters who support Trump who will walk away from the travelling Revival Tent preacher boy Cruz, thereby ensuring the GOP Establishment’s victory through their elite relative, Hillary.

  16. TO JohnS

WE should have treated YOU better?!?
For all you have dumped on Trump and his supporters:
    UP YOURS.
    You are a “Johnny come lately” DIVIDE AND CONQUER TROLL;
you have NO interest in creating unity.
