  1. Who does this asshole think is gonna vote for their ringer? After 8 years of shithead Obama, I don’t think drunken Hillary could possibly be any worse if she gets in because I voted for anyone other than D or R.

  2. While I say that there is very little and I mean VERY little chance (bordering on no fucking way) that I could vote for Trump, there is absolutely no fucking chance whatsoever I could vote for Rove and his new faces.
Spare me the killary speeches about not voting for Trump–before I became a vocal Cruz supporter, it was his obnoxious behavior and the obnoxious behavior of some of the Trump people here who sealed that deal for me to be against him.

  3. Seriously: Fuck you Karl Rove! I’m serious. Double fuck you. I’d smash that stupid white board over you fucking head if I ever got the chance. Here is what I think, Karl:

“Trump defies political correctness. He is like a horse that won’t take the saddle, and that’s one reason these (us) folks love him. They want him to resist the establishment.”

Pat Buchanan, as quoted in “The Limbaugh Letter,” April 2016

  4. If someone in the DC area would find a large rusty Buick and drive it up Carl Rove’s ass at a high rate of speed, that person would never have to buy their own beer in my hometown.

  5. Aggie is right. We’ve been trying to say this for weeks — maybe over the ;past two months. There’s no way Cruz is going to win enough delegates (though he may steal them) to win the nomination outright. That being the case, all he (and Kasich) are doing is keeping Trump from winning outright. Cruz is the splitter for the GOPe. He knows it. They know it.

  6. Man, I hate that pompous jackass. His tombstone will be the whiteboard stuffed up his butt after he dies.

How much money he stands to lose if Trump or Cruz are chosen. I hope there are real problems, if the GOP negets the voters who showed up in long lines and crowds to choose who WE want for president during the primary process.

Back off you bastards, we want our government back.

  7. Just remember, this is the guy that nearly had a stroke when Fox declared Obama in 2012.

He’s as big a wind bag as toe sucking Dick Morris and about as well informed on this year’s election.

Though I don’t put it past him to try to run the 2012 ticket in 2016.

  8. A “fresh face”???

I could reduce his fucking head to pulp with my Louisville Slugger. I double dare you ya Double Chinned Fuck to try and slip Ryan or Romney in.

Your days are done(I can only hope)

    Unreal.

  9. rove, the Liberal/Progressive RINO voice behind the faces of boehner, ryan, mcconnel, jeb, kasich, mccain, romney, snow, collins, murkowski, luger, kirk, peter king and thad cochran.

rove doesn’t have a solution, he’s a large part of the problem.
He’s a loser in every respect.

  10. ANYONE who thinks this guy, known as the architect of GW (who stayed in office, but overall that whole thing began to reek fiscally of Obama-lite) is on the side of the American people needs to be either committed or penalized.

Glad to see the fellow coming out of the closet, since it’s been rumbling around. Too bad to have it confirmed though.

I won’t state more of an opinion. It would probably get me a visit from a three letter agency or two.

  11. The best – and noble (i.e. “true and principled”) thing Cruz can do now is
    A) acknowledge that his further participation in this Primary is merely as a tool to advance the ends of the GOP Establishment,
    AND
    B) drop out and let Trump crush the Democrats.

I don’t expect his hubris and greed will allow him to do so.

And…umm…TO GovLawyer, LOOK IN THE MIRROR: you deranged, venemous Cruz supporters have alot to answer for.

  12. The best – and noble (i.e. “true and principled”) thing Trump can do now is
    A) acknowledge that he polls worse against Hillary than Romney did against Obama and that his participation exists only to get Hillary elected,
    AND
    B) drop out and let a Republican win the white house.
I don’t expect his fervent desire to see Hillary elected will allow him to do so.

You asked for a mirror, I am obliging you.

  13. I wasn’t speaking to you, MonkeyPooBoy, but your echoing of my post, as flattering as that may be…
IS AS LAME AS HILLARY’S RIPOFF OF TRUMP’S AD.
Try coming up with an idea of your own someday.

I guess your fading memory has lapsed about “polls showing Reagan WAAAY back behind Carter” and all that.

  14. When it comes to the IDIOTIC polls trying to predict a Hillary vs Trump election 8 months from now – SINCE WHEN do you put your TOTAL TRUST in LIBERAL MEDIA BULLSHIT POLLS!?

  15. Yeah Czar, I remember those polls when you were pushing them.
You seem to forget that they were taken so far before the election that had a similar poll been taken in this one Trump’s name would not have even been on it.
You shut up about it then because you were wrong, but like a bad penny, it keeps coming back up.
All the liberal media is behind Trump and has been from the beginning. Without Trump this would have been a rather pedestrian election except for Hillary’s scandals.
with Trump, they get to focus on him and ignore her.
Whenever a negative news story about Hillary breaks, Trump tweets something and the leftist media gets to say ‘look squirrel”.
You know this, but you have painted yourself into a corner and see no way out.
That is why you are so often reduced to anger and name calling.
Go back and review what you used to post a year, or two years ago. You will see a very different person. A person you probably liked a lot more than what you have become.

  16. Why do CruzBots AVOID THIS QUESTION?

    QUESTION
    CONVENTION TIME:
If Trump is a short putt away from winning the nomination, letā€™s say 1,150 delegates (87 delegates short)
Letā€™s say Cruz is at 750 (487 delegates short)

Also take in consideration Trump has a MILLION+ more votes than Cruz.

    ANSWER HONESTLY:
Who deserves the nomination? Who should be nominated?

  17. OK Czar;
If Trump has 1150 delegates, and the other side has a million+ more votes than those voting for Trump. (That is the case, by the way)
    Who should win?
Trump, or the guy representing the majority that is opposed to Trump?
But you have heard that before, you are just trying to recruit more trolls to replace the ones that used to stroke you.

  18. The raise of Trump is the fruit of the seeds sown by Rove over the past 16 years or so. Along with the cowardly leadership, or lack of leadership, by McConnell, Boehner, and Ryan.

Rove twice couldn’t even pick a candidate that could beat Obumbles. A candidate is needed that can over come the massive demo vote fraud by enough to still win. However, Rove is ok with losing to Obumbles, Hillary, Bernie or any other loser the Dems push onto the next election as long as he remains BMOC. What ever the outcome of the next election I hope it ends Rove as political advisor. Sorry I couldn’t watch the video. For a year or so I’ve been changing the channel as soon as I hear he’s on next.

  19. It seems that if the GOP does not nominate Trump at an open convention, the #NeverLeft movement will cease to exist. Remember, Cruz is hated as much as Trump by the GOP, maybe even more. Why do some of you blame that on Cruz supporters?

How many here will not vote or write in a third party candidate if Paul Ryan wins the GOP nomination at the convention?

  20. I find it ironical that the #neverTrump crowd won’t vote for him because they don’t trust he’s a real conservative. They’d rather vote for a RINO that they KNOW will do exactly what they are afraid Trump will do if elected.
Cruz is the GOP spoiler that they will turn there backs on at the earliest opportunity.

  21. 1. Trump is a double digit loser across the general election spectrum. Pick the demographics he needs to beat any democrat to win and he is losing by numbers like 16 for him to 71 against him.

    2. Currently he leads by only 273 delegates with over 800 delegates to go plus all the unbound delegates that Trump hasn’t until recently worked to acquire. So 273 is hardly insurmountable.

    3. As the year goes on Trump continually makes misstatements that are peeling away votes faster than a rotten onion. It isn’t going to get any better either, so be prepared for more incidents to come.

    4. Trump University is going to trial right during the fall when it will hurt him the most if he is the nominee.

    5. The media, that while to date has only been adversarial on a very few occasions, will in the summer and fall become quite nasty and begin to use all Trump’s many scandals and ethical issues that so far have remained untouched.

    6. Trump fails to admit when he has made a mistake and cannot adjust accordingly. Even when he “misstates” something it does not mean he made a mistake or is at fault for what he said. It is always a situation where either you misunderstood the answer or the question was intentionally confusing in an attempt to confuse Trump leading to the answer he gave at the time. This is his Achilles heel and will be seriously exploited by the Democrats and media going into the summer and fall.

    7. Trump is going to be tied up in lawsuits from now until never and especially if he becomes the nominee. As Trump loves to suggest about Cruz, the truth is this will be a far bigger problem for Trump. Both the left-wing protestors and the many folks he has wronged in business will be extremely fertile ground for these to grow like weeds. This will become another media narrative going into the fall.

With all this baggage and more that isn’t even mentioned Trump would do well to step aside and allow a candidate with none of this baggage to advance and take on the Republican leadership at the convention.

Trump’s Id rules over him and his ego and he has no super-ego. As such we all know that his Id will never allow him to do the right thing. That only happens by coincidence or luck.

    Fuse lit…………….. šŸ˜‰

  22. Menderman, No, try and keep up. Like you said, and you are exactly right, Cruz is hated as much as Trump. Why would the entire GOP be endorsing this MoFo, and spending a bazillion dollar to help HIM beat Trump in Wisconsin right now?
If Trump ends up with 1100 delegates, and Cruz ends up with 750, do you really think the GOP is going to get behind Cruz. Rove just told you what they were planning in that video. Go pull up so old clips of what Lindsey Graham use to say about Cruz. And now he’s endorsing him.The GOP person I’m referring too hasn’t appeared or been named yet.
If you want to stop this from happening there’s only one candidate to get behind. And logic should tell you who that is. These ass holes are stealing the process. It’s tyrannical.

  23. Woody, I’m just gonna take issue with #1. Polls are completely unreliable at this point. Never mind that Trump’s twitter feed is full of cherry picked polls that show how magnificent he is, we are not allowed to use polls to show how unelectable he is. Got it?

  24. O.K. Menderman. Let me type slower. You have two candidates that the establishment GOP HATES. Their political positions for the most part are identical. The GOP is using one of them the defeat the other and then they’re going to kick the one they were using right in the balls and install someone non of us has ever cast a vote for. And the guy they are using can’t get the delegates needed to pass the first guy. Are you getting any of this? We are being fucked over and I’m certain the reason Rove and guys like him keep saying shit like he did in the video is to get all of us sheep use to the idea.

  25. Polls don’t vote.

Polls mean nothing to anyone — except for the media pundits who pontificate, candidates who use it for fund raising and media coverage, the pollsters who are paid and cited, hoping to gain more people to pay for their polls and finally the fervent supporters who try to use them to see 8 months into the future to piss everybody off and alienate possible future supporters in the general election.

  26. BB; the GOP doesn’t like Cruz, but voters like him better than Trump.
Your buddies here in CA are used to rolling over the voters but voters have a bit more sway than you might like in the election.
The majority of Republicans do not want Trump. That is proven not just in the polls, but in the pol that counts, votes.

  27. “BB; the GOP doesnā€™t like Cruz, but voters like him better than Trump.”

No, you like him better than Trump. Cruz will most likely win Wisconsin. The GOP and company have dumped a ton of money into that state do defeat Trump. This is their battle line. Talk to me at the end of the month.
If you check real clear politics RIGHT NOW, you’ll find Trump way out ahead in National Polls. How can you even make a statement like that? Do fact mean anything to you?

  28. Levin is on Trump’s case again tonight. I had to turn him off.
I don’t give a shit what you guys think about Trump but he does not deserve the abuse he is receiving from the left, the right, the media, and far too many at IOTWreport. Trump broke the “politically collect ” barrier and we applauded. But now the left has rallied; they have him on the ropes(?), and the right is helping out. Fy’all.

  29. Moe, to some degree I agree with you.
Seriously though, it’s like punching a guy in the gut and then asking him to join in the fight to defend you.

It sucks that both Trump and Cruz took it down to the sewer.
Therefore we all took it to the sewer.

I can support both but it gets hard to do when so many act like one or the other is the anti-Christ.

  30. Yes, Trump has a clear lead at RCP in the national polls. He leads Cruz by 10.4, loses to Hillary by 10.6. Ain’t polls fun!

BTW, Cruz only loses to Hilliary by 2.8, and Kasich wins by 6.2!

Using you poll logic, we should be begging for an open convention so Kasich gets the nomination so Hilliary loses….that is your only goal, right, Hilliary losing?

  31. Pointing to a poll predicting 8 months from now is like predicting the World Series winner in April. Why bother playing the baseball season?
Trump TROUNCES Hillary in the general, “believe me”

  32. Trump deserves everything he gets from all sides. Trump has a nice plane because he supported whoever helped get him rich. The people that made him rich took away my health insurance, but he still has his plane.

Fuck Trump and his “politically incorrect” principles.

  33. “itā€™s like punching a guy in the gut and then asking him to join in the fight to defend you.”

Bad analogy. How about slapping a bud in the face and telling him to get in the God Damn fight because we are about to all get played big. Honestly what they are going to try and do is now bigger than either candidate.

  34. Interesting, On this thread at least, the outspoken Cruz people want to destroy Trump and choose to ignore Rove, Graham, Boehner, Kristol, #NeverTrump, Romney, Fiorina etc…

The Trump people want to destroy Hillary and heed the warnings (threats) of the above mentioned GOPe

  35. I missed GOPecare.
Apparently aluminum foil doesn’t work as well as tinfoil.
Where can one get tinfoil these days? I even tried Whole Foods and Starbucks.
Is it only available at Bernie rallies?

  36. JohnS – twisted pretzel logic

“the GOP doesnā€™t like Cruz, but voters like him better than Trump.”

    ???

The GOP doesn’t like Cruz and they HATE Trump. The GOP are using Cruz to bounce out both of them.

At the moment Trump has MORE delegates, million+ more votes than Cruz and is the ONLY candidate that has a shot at DEFEATING the GOPe. If Cruz was a PRINCIPLED ANTI-GOPe guy he’d do the HONORABLE, NOBLE act, DROP OUT and DEFETA the GOPe.
Instead, Cruz is a SELFISH, EGOTISTICAL PRICK that can not see he’s now being USED by the GOPe.

  37. I am seeing deranged lunacy on display seeing people type that Cruz should surrender to Trump for the good of the…the….um the good of Trump?

So, Cruz should let a guy win that has a lifetime of differing values because those values will destroy the values of people that have the same values?

Trump is to the left of the GOPe! Always has been, always will be.

  38. . I don’t pay much attention to polls. But I cannot imagine Hillary beating Trump or Cruz in November 2016. It’s
just my gut feeling I’ve been wrong before. Matter of fact, I’m seldom right but I believe in the law of averages. However, I do believe that the RNC elite will do their damnnest to beat them and but in a “battle tested” warrior in their place If so, in January 2017, we’ll be wondering what the fuck happened? Again!

  39. One thing I have noticed in this kerfuffle; a majority of Trump supporters say they will vote fore Cruz if he wins the nomination, but a majority of Cruz supporters say they would NEVER vote for Trump. So tell me again, which group will help put Hillary in the White House?

  40. Tony R – you are correct.
The “Never Trump” Cruz supporters do not realize they are handing the election over to Hillary.
They are also in denial that Cruz is ineligible and their wasted support is handing the nomination process over to the GOPe to rat-fuck our only chance to STOP the political machine.
And the GOPe do not care how many disenfranchised voters they will leave in their wake.
If Cruz and his supporters truly are anti-establishment they would make a deal with the front-runner Trump instead of doing the GOPe’s bidding of a brokered convention where both Trump and Cruz will eventually be screwed.
