In the largest data breach in history, 2.6 terabytes of internal communications and documents from Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca (MossFon) were given to German paper Suddeutsche Zeitung last year.
The materialĀ turned over covered 40 years of work by MossFon to create over 214,000 shell companies that could beĀ used to hid wealth from the tax authorities.
Approximately 12 world leaders, 61 relatives, 128 government officials, and 29 billionaires all did business with MossFon.
