Ex Apprentice Contestants Get Together To Slam Trump — Only One Problem

One would think that these are concerned ex-contestants that are blowing the lid off of secret Trump behavior- possible, sexism, or racism, or some other ism.

Nope. They have no specifics. They are just throwing out the universal charges that every other lefty throws out there.

The common denominator is not that they’ve all been on The Apprentice, it’s that they are all against Trump’s platform and they happen to have been on The Apprentice.

The Apprentice angle is meaningless.

  1. Trump’s rhetoric as divisive and accused him of running a ‘campaign of sexism, xenophobia, racism, violence and hate.’

Keep saying it, maybe it will come true.

This post reminds me of the recent Easter egg roll with the Obamas, ““It’s important for me that my son see people who look like us in the White House.”” (source: washington post).

    Kinda sums it up.

  2. So 6 minorities, 2 of which are women plan to come out and denounce Trump for being a sexist, xenophobic, racist, violent, hateful pig not fit for POTUS. Is this ironic or does someone actually think this is a good plan?!!

  3. I seriously think someone is spreading it around in the black community that Trump plans on sending them back to Africa. When I stopped at my local 7-11 a few days ago, I asked the black girl behind the register what she thought of Trump. She looked horrified and said, “You know what’s going to happen to people like me, right?” She honestly thought Trump is planning to deport all black people if he wins. (That’s probably why the black people were so angry about the college kids who built “the wall.”) I told her that somebody is lying to her, and gave her the names of a few blogs to look at.

  4. You guys really don’t know why they are afraid of Trump?
Trump says that he will spend over $1.25trillion per year paying down the national debt and run no deficit Another almost 1/2 trillion$
He is also going to up the military budget, keep infrastructure, and spend billions more on security.
The only way to do that is to cut social security and social services to near zero.
That he has no intention of doing that, or most of the things he says means nothing. They are being told that, and they hear Trump saying it.
I have had conversations about this, they, like many Trump supporters are believing the things he says even when they, as they often are, impossible.

  5. JohnS
Show me the math that says it is impossible.
We were in just as bad a financial shape (national debt) after the depression and WWII. A strong economy pulled us out of it in about 10 years.
So, you are content with driving this country into the ground and not even trying to turn it around? That’s what you are saying.

  6. Jethro The fed currently takes in about $3T in taxes.
Diverting more than half of that would require cutting the fed in half overnight and increasing revenue. Even if that could be done (I think it could be done over a few years), over half of the budget is social services.
If you take the military off the table, even if you deleted EVERYTHING the feds do, including salaries for the president congress and staff, you would still have to more than halve spending on social services.
Even if all social services were cut that were not SS or medicare, SS and Medicare would both have to be cut by more than half to make it happen.
Look at a pie chart of the federal budget and you will understand the situation.
Merely cutting Social Security payments by half would cause Trump problems he would be unable to handle.
To add to the unreality of the situation, Congress would have to go along with all this.
Trump knows they won’t, so he has someone to blame.
just like he is blaming the rules for the problems he is having now.

  7. Warren Harding and Calvin Coolidge cut the federal budget by half almost 100 years ago. Their adversaries squeeled as loud back then as the Trump haters are now. Their actions pulled us out of the depression of 1920 and gave us the roaring 20s. Then Herbert Hoover F’d it up.
You are missing the part about the economic growth bringing in new revenue and providing jobs to replace the welfare that so many are currently dependent on.

  8. The alternative to fantasy is none of those things.
    It is reality.
Concrete, viable, plans of action that can take toward our goal is what is needed, not hashtags and talking points.
It has taken decades of retreat to get where we are now.
Reversing course needs to be item #1. Merely stopping the decline would be a huge deal that would give people more energy for the harder parts to come. That can’t be done if people are going to be disappointed due to being oversold. Especially if they are oversold in a huge way.
Once the situation has been stabilized, even if left in that condition we would start growing out of the problem quickly. The debt could reasonably be wiped out in 25-30 years if the fed grows at a rate at least 1% under inflation with no deficit spending.
Trump needs a real plan. Fencing half the border (that is his plan) won’t stop people from coming across. Fencing all the border wouldn’t. You need to attack the reason they are coming; social services and employment. Eliminate those and they will leave on their own.
Trump is not a bad man, he just is not the man he presents himself as. Look into how he has lived his life and what he has done politically and you will understand who he is.
Don’t listen to me, or his handlers. Look at his life and what he has done. (notice I haven’t used the word ‘accomplished’ he is a very accomplished man)

  9. JohnS,
“… The debt could reasonably be wiped out in 25-30 years if …”

As much as I admire your efforts, that’s just Fantasy Island bullshit.

No Congress can bind a subsequent Congress. The American people have lost their moorings and are afloat in a sea of ignorance, vapidity, and mendacity. These are the makings of a “perfect storm” of Biblically catastrophic proportions for this poor, benighted nation. And if you add to that already toxic mix our propensity for pure, unadulterated Evil in our embracing of child-sacrifice, socialism, and cultural relativism, your Pollyanna-ish optimism vis-a-vis Cruz seems naive, at best.

    Keep the sunny side up!

    izlamo delenda est …

  10. Tim, Congress binds future congress’s all the time. Or, are you suggesting that the debt is wiped out and no longer an obligation with every new congress? I used that as the most obvious example.
    As to your other point.
Name one thing in Trumps long political life, other than promises, that demonstrates his ability or desire to correct any of the things you listed. Demonstrates is the critical word.
