Breitbart Texas has posted a story on what appears to be Mexican police and military authorities placing a plastic bag over the head of a captured cartel member in order to get information.
There is no information on when the incident occurred or where it was filmed.
The video surfaces mere days after CIA Director John Brennan declared that his agency won’t waterboard ever again.
Mexican Interrogation Here
Brennan’s Comments Here
This video has the potential to put the Obama administration in an awkward position.
Does this mean that our government officials are morally superior to Mexico’s because we won’t stoop to such tactics?
But it’s culturally insensitive to condemn what another society does to its own people, so Obama should just remain quiet about it. But doesn’t saying nothing mean that our government approves of what those savage Mexicans do to their prisoners?
The only hope Obama has is for the media to ignore this story completely – We’ve got to do all we can to make sure they don’t.
I am pretty sure American Government officials are not culturally superior to Mexico’s.
I am darn sure that Constitution loving Americans are culturally Superior to Mexicans.
To quote William Tecumseh Sherman: “War is cruelty, and you cannot refine it”.
Make no mistake, the Mexicans are in a total war with the cartels. Tactics like this “street interrogation” is an indication they will do what is necessary to stop the killing of their own.
Brennan has about nine months left in office.
Unless, of course, Killary or crazy Bernie is elected.
If that be the case then it won’t matter a damn.
If that person knew where the cartel was holding my kidnapped child that is nowhere near as ruthless as I would be.
Amateurs.
My ex wife would have any suspect begging to talk in the first 30 seconds.
So suffocation is preferable to waterboarding?
Cool!
“But it’s culturally insensitive to condemn what another society does to its own people”
That also goes for Mexican commentary on American politics, IMHO.
Tit for tat.
