The Chicago Veterans Affairs hospital has a serious cockroach infestation.
They are getting into the food, with reports of roaches crawling on the dinner plates headed for patient’s rooms.
Patients aren’t eating, workers are quitting (afraid they’ll bring the bugs home with them) and the pest have become immune to chemicals used for extermination.
The more I read this piece the more disgusted I became.
If there ever was a reason to put an end to the VA, this is it.
Chicago – cockroaches – uhh – Obola – Emanuel – Ayers – seems like they all kinda go together …
izlamo delenda est …
Hillary’s single-payer healthcare system seen through a mirror Darkly. It’s far worse than you think.
Horrible…and the inevitable result of govt-run single-payer “health care.”
I’m surprised Mooch hasn’t chimed in on how much protein a roach has–and urge schools to include some in their lunches.
Bedbugs and roaches are rampant in Indy hospital.
govlawyer, ya beat me to it.
Hey they allow roach parts in all our food. A little more can’t hurt, eh?
There’s nutrition in them thar roaches! It’s free protein!
Make that Free Range Protein and you can sell it.
This is evil. COUP! COUP! COUP!
I have to say, that the VA Clinic and Hospital where I live is just fine. I never have to wait, and actually, they bug the hell out me to make appointments. They seem more worried about my health than I am.
@Dad of 4–if you call it “free range” the hipsters will line up for hours to get some! Never overestimate the value of a college degree!
Burn it down. Figuratively and literally.
Real Roaches or simulated Democrat roaches?
@Jerry Manderin: My pigeon seconds that motion!

Let’s convert the VA hospitals to care solely for those clamoring for single payer. No chance to reconsider after they’ve sampled the food.
